Default CreativeCompacts Experience *READ*

I am posting this due to the fact I feel CreativeCompacts has cheated me. I ordered a shoft shifter for the $69.00 promotion because I have been procrastinating in gettin one. Shortly after my order I PMed Creative Compacts to make sure I would recieve it Wednesday since they broadly advertised they would go out Monday and be recieved sometime Wednesday/Thursday. I was like great this is awesome, I would be happy to do business with CreativeCompacts. Monday I sent CreativeCompacts another PM just to confirm my order and to make sure it wasn't backorder. I recieved this response "Based off the name Josh, no its not and should be there wednesday... I will have tracking posted in the AM.". It is now Wednesday, I have recieved no shifter and since I work a 6 day work week, this really bummed me out. So again, I PMed CreativeCompacts asking why my order still says pending to inquire what was going on. The gentleman let me know that my shifter was backordered due to the fact so many were ordered. Well thats fine CreativeCompacts, If I wanted to wait I would have ordered from TWM or B&M, but now I see that may have been the ideal thing to do. So in the PM I sent CreativeCompacts I asked for a refund to my card so I could shop elsewhere. In the response, James let me know that he had no vital info to look my order up, when in each PM I left my order number and also informed me about their policy on returns, a 20% restocking fee. Now I feel cheated and like I am being treated like an idiot. I let James know that I have read their policy fully and it states that on a return there's a 20% restocking fee, well this isn't a return, it's a cancellation due to the fact I was sold on what I wanted to hear, not the truth.
Now one thing I also did notice is how CreativeCompacts loves to rant and rave about their inventory and shipping times as this one in CreativeCompacts signature "Currently stocking more items than any other retailer for faster shipping times!" or this one I found on EBAY for a Short Shifter "All Shifters are shipped from Virginia. We are not a California based company pushing product that take weeks to arrive. Every item you see in our online auction is STOCKED at our VA location. Feel free to call us to purchase your fenders or IM us on AOL IM at CreativeCompcts".
Now How can those statements be true on EBAY, every online auction is STOCKED at our VA location. This is what I mean by selling a customer on what they want to hear not the truth. Bad business in my opinion.
In my last PM I let James know that If I didn't recieve a full refund I would contact the BBB and the FBI internet crime/fraud division If I didn't recieve my full refund. Actually, as I am writing this I just recieved my full refund from CreativeCompacts to close the deal completely. I am posting this to let other customers know about the customer service CreativeCompacts has shown me. I am not bashing the company or James as a person I just felt cheated.

Moved to Retail Experiences...

Yes, they had 30+ in stock... which is A LOT. Probably more than others. But when you have nearly 40 orders at ONE TIME, of course no one is going to be able to fill that immediately.

The FBI?

Yes, the FBI has a Internet Fraud/Crime Division. It's funny you laugh because if someone was trying to take your hard earned money you would be glad there is something out there to help you.

But it's not like they're just taking your money and laughing at you.

No matter what he told you about dates of shipping and what not, things happen - they likely didn't expect THAT many orders. Ya, ya, "they should have planned" etc etc. But like I said... things happen. You'll get your shifter, so like I said, they're not just taking your money and running. It's not "fraud." At all.

well, patience pays a lot you know... it it true that it is hard to please a customer esp when they did not get what they are expecting... i myslef was also disappointed at CC at first because it took them a looong while to deliver the SS and then i had to wait for a few months more for my ****... but.. my point is, as long as you communicate and extend a little patience, all will be resolved... it might not be the way/how you expected it to be, but it will be resolved,,,

Jesus dude, do you even know of the word "patience"?

It's only Wed morning...your life won't end if you have to wait another day for your SS. Try waiting the 3 months that everyone waited for the initial orders of these. besides, you're getting it for $69....isn't it worth it even if you have to wait a couple of extra days? The other shifters you mentioned may have shown up already but they would have cost you almost twice as much.

Relax bro... bashing a vendor over soemthing like this is silly.

Contact your credit card company, dispute the charge, tell them you haven't received it and you want the charge refused.

Most will take the customers viewpoint, unless the vendor can proof that you are lying.

Personally, I hate it wehn online vendors don't mention anything about back-orders until after you've paid (I when through this recently with 4 different vendors, including 1 on ebay for the H&R wheel spacers).

It's really not that hard to have inventory management.

Once you sell the 30 you have, you make the item listing say backorder.

It's very very simple.

How would you like it if you walked into a store, picekd something up and then once you;d paid you were informed that you would be sent that item in the mail in a couple of weeks and a refund would cost 20%.

Sorry but it is outrageous.

That said I do think Stealth is freaking out more than is really needed.

WOW Serously get a life man. FBI/Internet Fruad, omg the consumer is insane these days. I think that with the internet/forums and blogs the consumer has too much power. People make mistakes, companies make mistakes. Technically you are wrong. You agreed to their terms when you purchased the item. I'm sure they would not have intentionally misled you. Its called an HONEST MISTAKE. This is why we have no good doctors anymore. They are so damn scared of making any mistakes they dont even practice medicine anymore. Sheesh.

edit.

If you were seriously interested in speaking with someone about your purchase you should have called and spoken to someone. I mean come on, sending pm's about tracking a purchase. Stop being so lazy.

really, wed wasn't even at the half way mark before you started. and the fact that they got you your refund before you finished writing even shows how fast they were. and just because you haven't gotten an email or something does not mean nothing is going on. some places (shippers especially) dont send emails on the weekend, and are slow to get things updated becuase of the 1 or 2 days off.
and with the volume of orders they got I would expect them to be a little overwhelmed.

Your opinion is wrong. You should delete this post because you are basically crying over nothing. You are trying to bully James into serving you to your liking.

James said : "Based off the name Josh, no its not and should be there wednesday... I will have tracking posted in the AM.".

Lets take a look there for something. Oh wait, I see it! The word should. He has no way of knowing how many orders are going to be placed.

Seriously, grow up a bit or dont order from somewhere online. You feel cheated because things didnt go your way, not because of some huge order that wasnt filled. Id like to see how you would have reacted if you had placed an order with TC Tunerz back in teh day....

Problem is most of these so-called tuner companies are just a web page! They take your order and then they contact the "real" company that makes or distributes the product. If the company does not have the product then you must wait Here's where the word PATIENCE comes in. Of course they are going to tell you it will be here within a few days, if they told you anything else you would just order from someone else and that losese them mony. You need to take a chill pill and learn a little patience and stop with these stupi posts. This is just my opinion.
