Yeah I know, but the issue i have is that i didn't realize they were 8k until i had installed them.... lol. I don't know how i didn't notice the little 8k tag on the wire until i was already plugging them in.

-got everything wired up and turn on great. only down side is that one of my ballast are making a quiet buzzing noise. Im sure that isn't too normal because the other one isn't making any noise. would it be possible to get a replacement ballast.

*REVIEW* My hid kit came relatively quickly, basically next day. Waited for the weather to be a little more friendly to tackle this simple job. just pulled out my stock bulbs and plugs these ones in. fired them up (had to change the polarity, i guess red didn't mean "+" and black didn't mean "-") Fast quick and simple. For $57 a set (till valentines day i think) well worth the money. now i need one for fogs and high beams (still questioning it though).

-ill probably post at a later note down the line to see how long thest puppies last

-I am a happy customer and would buy from them again. THANKS HIDEXTRA!

My kit came really fast. I was kinda surprised when I opened the package though. Both the ballasts don't have the black sticker on them (the one that says 35W and all the electrical mumbo jumbo). They simply have a layer of transparent blueish film on them. Mine is regular (not slim) 5000K for the tC btw. Is this normal?

The blue film over the ballasts is to protect them from scratches and whatever during shipping (I assume) and are normal. Mine came with them as well. Just peel them off before applying the double-sided tape pad and you're good to go.

Default Flickering

I got my HID Extra kit in the mail a few days ago for my 06 tC. I installed them using a relay harness just for the extra peace of mind. But when I turn them on the driver-side headlight flickers a little bit. Can anyone help me out?

I ordered H11 6000k for my 2010 Scion tC on sunday February 14 2010 with the valentine's day special ($57 shipped). I received them earlier this morning via USPS and installed them around 5pm. Both bulbs and ballasts work and they look great! Exactly what I was looking for. There's a 1 year warranty, so I have some peace of mind. I hope they continue working strong though!

Great kit! Order came quick and hookup was a breeze. 8K were a little more blue than i wanted but they look great and light up the road nicely. Now I need to order leds for all my parking lights to match. Any suggestions?
