1) Keep records or everything you do!

2) Respond to your customers quick and keep tabs on who people are (they should not have to give you their name 4 times before you know which order it is). The transaction should be personal.

3) Dont sell products you dont currently have in stock, If your materials are gone that you use to make the product explain to people before they buy, ITEM is out of stock and will be a while.

4) Never tell a customer he/she is wrong. The customer is always right. Even if he/she is 100% wrong

5) Use a reliable postal service and make the customer sign at the door for it. YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR EVERYTHING.

6) DO NOT LIE ABOUT ANYTHING

7) IF YOU DIG YOURSELF A DEEP HOLE, close down your business temp. and take care of the customers that you screwed over and pised off. If you have to take out a loan to get the money needed to buy the pieces or materials to make your customers happy even if they are not used, a new part from the dealership will do the same thing. THEN DO IT!

8 ) DO NOT try to rational with your customers that it is not your fault that they ordered 5 months ago and it still is not on their CAR or even in their hands!!!! If they do not have it, get one out to them within a few days and dont give them any bs about it.

9) Without good customer service you wont have customers and without customers you WILL NOT HAVE A JOB. YOu basically work for the people that buy your product. Make a quality product, and get it to them fast. Its that simple. Or your out of job.

sorry if I repeated anything said in the past 8 pages, I read the first two and it ____ed me off so bad i had to write up. I usually dont voice my opinion on the forum but this ____ed me off so bad I had to.

Goodluck on everyone in a dispute with ikona[/b]
I wanted this to be seen again. Well put. I have been trying to make similiar suggestions for a while.

It is not ALL negative!

I have been trying to give this guy constructive critisizm for a while now. After all my dealings with him ... I don't think that he is a bad person (well....) I think that he just doesn't know how to run a business. I think he is greedy and doesn't realize that you have to spend money to make money .... and well I think that he is really just immature.

I mean a busiess person that uses person problem excuses to justify his failures in business just doesn't get it. I have said it many many times but I am going to say it again.

ikona problems ARE NOT customer problems

I just don't see why he doesn't get that we have given him money and don't care about the fact that he thought that everyone was going to return the cores (nieve) and blah blah blah.... we want money or product ... not lies.

Come on iKONA ... I'm still pulling for you even after all that .

Listen to what Ukno0003 said ... this is good advise!

Thank you for your patience so far and I will get things rolling. Thanks friend.

John
So I sent him my info again shortly after for the 6th or 7th time, haven't heard back yet....
It's now been a week and 1 day since I sent you my info for the 7th time i-Kona, still haven't heard back from you.

But hey this Monday we can all have a party to celebrate the 4 month anniversary of me sending payment and not receiving the product or any legitimate communication regarding the status of my order!

Literally every message that I have received from him over the past 4 months has been a variation of "hey sorry, send me your info again". The dude is a broken record, I feel like I'm dealing with SmarterChild.

Are we sure he isn't just a bot?

Also it may have been smarter of you to not actually spend the profit money that people sent you until you completed their order. And it's really not hard at all to make a spreadsheet in Excel or something to track this sort of stuff.

NAME - DATE OF PAYMENT - ORDER DETAILS - ORDER STATUS

Then you can look everyone up with the click of a button

SmarterChild

omg that brings back memories!

STNC: "Do You Like Sex?"
SmarterChild: "I don't know, I'm a robot"
STNC: "Don't robots have sex?"
and so on...

idk....

I feel he should be shut down until he catches up with everyone, and then after that, he should only be allowed to take on so many orders at a time, or face IP Ban....

I was talking with a friend a long time ago, back when Delta Customs first introduced interior painting, and I was interested, but my friend said, "Just wait, he will bite off more than he could chew". And sure enough, it did happen.

I also agree with better record keeping, I am a super organized person, and it baffles me when people don't use excel or such for financial record keeping, but to each his own I guess...

I trust I-Kona, but I want to see everything resolved just like everyone else.

Itl be just a little longer (not months) Id say a few more weeks at the most! And then I'll have a garnish for you. Speaking ahead of plans. Would you be willing to sell me your garnish after you receive the debadged one?
