Default I'm Dissappointed in IKONA!

I am not saying anything bad about IKONA....

I will say that I am Dissappointed in telling me he will ship my item at a certain time and Not get it...Or it gets pushed back etc..

I even sent extra money to him for Priority Shipping...I never got it yet!!!

I was given a time frame I said ok sounds good. He told me i would get it in time for my upcoming show..I never got it.

Well, I sure he does fantastic work, just wish he tell his customers a "realistic" delivery time.

how is it being shipped? you ask for a tracking number? sometimes its not the companies fault, sometimes the person handling the shipment loses it to.. and at that point the company really cant do a thing about..

just a suggestion. as i deal with this almost everyday..

If I remember right people were having alot of problems with him before. Maybe that is why he changed the company name?

Well I did receive my Garnish BUT not at the expected delivery date he gave me.

Overall the "quality" looks good when looking back as soon as u get really close-up u can see the Sanding marks and some uneven clearcoat and can see the "oval" shape still
Only at ceratin angles. Its NOT the best body work better than I could of done. I think I will go to a different person from now on!

^ someone else said the same thing about I-kona... told me through PM's though. He returned it to them, did another crappy job and then just took it to a body shop for them to do it...

my "best quality on the market" keyhole plugs didnt even match my paint color. that was after he mysteriously sent my first keyhole plugs which never got to me, then kept stalling on resending. they don't match anyways. guy does the most shadiest work. i didnt feel like bringing the color up. too much of a hassle. i just ate the $12 and called it a day.

i've seen one of his badgeless garnishes up close. looks horrible. i can't believe he charges what he does for such poor quality,

i'll be blunt about it, not like i will ever buy from him again,

and whenever he pops in on threads and gives "advice" on how to paint or do this, i just cringe. i hope people on this site just skip over his posts and move to the next one.

Yeah the badgeless garnish she is talking about is mine. What a waste of time and money that was! It looks like poop, the color is off and there's no clearcoat on it. BOOOOO TO IKONA!

Yeah I'm going on 13 weeks of having sent payment and still havent received my garnish. The original wait time was supposed to be 4 weeks.

I've sent 5 PM's inquiring about it over the past 2 months. Plus a few attempts inside the thread to get a direct update regarding my order. I received 2 responses from him, both of which were asking for my info so that he could send me an update. I sent the info the first time, never heard anything back, mentioned something in the thread again, and then got another PM asking for my info again so he could send me an update. So I sent my info for the 5th time on the 26th, still haven't heard anything back. I don't really expect to at this point.

I may look into filing some kind of claim with Paypal to try to get my money back.

yeah man. filing with paypal is your best choice since obviously ikona is a shady scam artist.

he's been with my money for 5 weeks now, and i still have no garnish...

he quoted me 2 weeks, and he's throwing in free stuff to 'sweaten' my wait time, but it's still ridiculous.

don't make promises you can't keep, i'm in need of the money i'll get when i send back my garnish to him..
