Default Kromatic Customs

Don't do business with Kromatic Customs. They are located at
21600 Great Mills Road (St. Mary's Square next to Peebles)
Lexington Park, MD 20653
I gave them a deposit of $1420 for custom wheels. Now no wheels, doors are locked and no one will return my phone calls or emails.

They aren't registered with the Better Business Bureau or the St. Mary's Chamber of Commerce. Wish I had checked first. Don't be like me - stay away - far away.

I'm guessing it was Troy. They sort of did my paint job. Brought the car buy, they said they had a guy who could do it, quoted 1200. Sent it out, when it came back, fed me some bs about having to clearcoat the stock colored areas as well and wanted an extra 250. I later found out he sent it to Bad Boyz Customs to get painted, and I'm sure the 250 went straight in his pocket, not over to Bad Boyz. Paint looks good but may not hold up because Bad Boyz didn't primer, just wet sanded the stock clear and sprayed new color over.

I'm in Lex Park and have yet to find a good shop, this is after dealing with D&G, Trick Trucks, Alltimate (now out of business), Kromatic, Bad Boyz, and Street Trends. George's Body Shop seems to do good paint but they aren't the cheapest, in hindsight the extra 600 may have been worth it.

Sorry to hear, I'll poke around and see if I can find some other contact info on him to try and get your money back. This could be reported as theft I believe. Did you pay via credit card? You may be able to pull back payment through the card agency.

BTW, this is the same guy who tried to convince me to "upgrade" from a set of JL 8W7's to a set of Power Akoustic 10's Why are they better again, because that's the brand you sell?

Have you tried PJ's Auto Body? . If you look on somd.com, you can find people that people that have work done and have a lot of good things to say about them. The # is 301-994-3233.

I checked with them on a repair when I had key scratches on my car. Seemed like they would have good work, but the price was too steep even for insurance. They were looking to replace all rubber trim on the doors since the glass was being pulled, and maybe the vinyl as well which is about $260 alone to replace. All this for a key scratch, I figured they would mask above the door trim seal and not have to mess with all of that.
