I just made a deposited for a SW scion tC. They claimed to be "the best" toyota dealer in the nation, and from this I believe some of you scion owners had purchased from Longo. I'm just wondering how are their service and credit from people who had experience from this dealership. This will be my first car so I am a little extra cautions about everything.

I'm going to rate them honestly.

My parents got our camry from there- super good deal and asian friendly.

BUT the scion department is full of young people. They don't seem like they are motivated. I'm not saying they're bad, but they could use some improvement in terms of customer interaction.

But that doesn't matter, cause when you get your car serviced, it's through the toyota department, and i recommend always getting your service there.

I ordered my SW from Longo specifically telling them that i don't want license plate holes drilled in the front. The car came in with them on. I was kinda disapointed.

my bro's Tacoma, my dad's Avalon, both of them we got from Longo. we got very nice deal, especially if you know some people who works there. ;)

 

I dont know how their sales department is cuz i didnt get my car there. But NEVER bring your car to fix..they are HORRIBLE! I live like maybe 2miles from there so i decided to bring my car there to service.

They told me it'll take 4hrs to service my car so they suggest i go home until they call me. It took them over and hour and a half to get me a ride home. Not to be mean, but should get some who speaks good english to speak in the intercom cuz when they call my name i didnt know its my name until moments later i went to the help desk and ask they why does it take so long. They said they been calling my name for awhile. Dude, i sat like 5 feet away from the desk just waiting.

The worst part is when they finish servicing my car, they told me its ready and i can come pick up the car. Got there, and waited another 20mins before i got my car. they didnt call my name again.
When they called they said its under warranty so that was cool. Until the service guy told something is wrong with my air bag and if i wanted to check it'll cost me money. I was like, isnt it suppose to be under warranty? Why am i asked for money up front? I told them no and that i'll come back next time to service it. Check my car everything was fine including the airbag which they said the light was on. BS..

 

longo scion is awesome. the best sales staff ive ever dealt with lol.

 

bought my xb and tc there aswell as my bro bought a corolla there too.....

and have done all my maintainance(sp?) at Longo...

Longo gets an A+ from me as well. I forgot the sales rep i spoke to but he was a cool guy. No complaints here. Just TWO BIG THUMBS UP =)

 

Yea Longo is a great place. My Uncle is Head of Sales their and we've gotten a Rav-4,Scion tC, and 4 Runner from there with no problems.

Yea the free Sirius is cool too. Some 1 said Scion Sales Reps acted like they didn;t care or something. I mean Scions sell themselves their from what my Uncle has said. Second, Scion Sales reps don;t hassle you and pressure you to buy the car, which isn't what happens at the Toyota Branch. Also I hear the Scion Sales ppl make only 200 bux per car sold. Thats a week commision, but Scions do sell them selves and has that no bargaining thing.

Overall though a good experience.

 

I was suppose to pick up my car yesterday. After testing driving it, everything was perfect except for two things. There was no sirus radio ready and my dad spotted a DENT!! Julio, my sales rep said he will fix it and install the sirus radio and I'll be getting a call today. The customer service was laggy at first, but there was no pressure which I like.

 

hands down the best in socal.

 

I like the salespeople at Longo Scion. They are much, much better than the Toyota ones. As for the service at Longo. They only lost my car once, so it's all good.
