Well as you all know from my thread I purchased an AEM EMS from Lance at Toyomoto like 3 weeks ago. He emailed me about 2 weeks ago promising an order update last Monday. I didn't get anything from him and have emailed him about 4 or 5 times since trying to get an order update with no response. To make a long story short I drop my car off at ZPI on Friday and would really like to have them do the AEM EMS then instead of taking it back up there. On top of this I'm also worried since I dropped about $2000 on this and have nothing to show and no communication. If anybody knows Lance or talks to him or w/e please send him to this thread or have him email me. I don't want to have to make a claim with Paypal because I really wanted the AEM EMS and I don't want to make things ugly. So if you all know Lance or anything I would really appreciate if you could help me out.

 

wtf, that sux. I thought you already received the EMS. If you don't get it by this weekend what will you run to tune that 12psi pulley?

 

I'm betting the intercooler will eat a lb or 2 so I'll see if ZPI thinks I can run it w/o tuning until I can get the AEM if not then I'll get it put on when I get the AEM in.

If you lose 2lbs of pressure through the intercooler, then your intercooler is not that good. You should lose about a .5-1 PSI at max for most intercoolers.

Also, Lance is real hard to get a hold of BTW.

 

I was counting on 1lb but if it ends up less which it might since the piping shouldn't be long at all then that's fine with me. Yeah I have noticed he's VERY hard to get a hold of. I emailed him again last night and left a voice message today so we'll see.

 

I still have no product from Toyomoto after a month nor any emails in two weeks and I'm about to make a claim with paypal and go another route. Can anyone get ahold of Toyomoto better than I can?

Monday, I can't go the unichip route, no tuner closer than like 3 1/2 hours away. I'm strongly considering emanage ultimate which would leave me more money and I could do a clutch, flywheel, lsd as well

 

Well I opened a dispute with paypal tonight, so either he responds and sends me my product or I'll get my money back

 

I couldnt agree more about the intercooler as I have stated in a different thread. At that low of a boost level, I wouldnt want to see any more then .5lb pressure loss really.

Everything I know about Lance he is a stand up guy, just kinda hard to get ahold of. Hopefully everything will work out for the best though.

Well I escalated my paypal dispute to a claim just now so we'll see if paypal will get me my money back.

 

Well, this situation is over as Toyomoto has decided to refund my money through paypal. I really wish we could've worked it out and I could've gone with the AEM but I have no doubt that I will have excellent results with an emanage ultimate tuned by turbocustomz
