hows is going my scion family? I need your help in making a decision on what alarm system to buy. I know that alot of people here have gotten the viper alram systems, but I dont want the remote start system and I heard that the Page One alaram systems have bascally all the same features as the viper but comes w/o the remote start. Should I go for the Page One alaram system? it costs about $250 installed. Also I wanna know if anyone else on SL has a Page One system and can give me a review on it....oh and if this is on the wrong forum...my bad. I'll be looking forward to your replies. Thanks in advance.

 

No offense but i think the whole "alarm thing" is a waste of money!! Maybe like 7 years ago when people actual responded to the alarms going off. But now, no one cares to even blink at one (me included). But if you want one, get one!

 

^^ yeah ur right, but I plan on getting it wired to the car horn that way if it does go off...it should bring some kind of attention b/c everyone hates continous beeping horns as alarms.....well thats just my opinion..and also i live in philly (an alarm system actually comes in handy once in a while over here)...its no where as peaceful as it is in rochester/webster NY.n btw thanks for the reply...u gave me an honest opinion

^^ IMO not useless at all. Especially if you have a pager. I had a Honda before my box and had it broken into at least five times. Adding a pager alarm made me feel a lot better about it.

 

^^^ THANK YOU!!!...oh and about webster...i dont kno alot about it...been there a few times, my sis lives up there....but from what I see...its no philly....it seems wayyy more peaceful then philly.
