Without getting angry, I ordered the OTG rear 10mm shims for my xB. The problem is that I ordered them almost 2 weeks ago and nothing yet. I called them and I spoke to one of the guys there(no name to be given YET!) and he said, "Your order was overlooked and I apologize. You should receive them by Wednesday or Friday since Thursday is Thanksgiving, there are no mail deliveries." I said, "Cool, no problem."
You guessed right, we are already at Tuesday and no shims yet, although I did talk to the same guy yesterday by phone and he said he would contact the P.O. to inquire about their whereabouts. In the mean time, he would send out a 2nd set. I'll see what happens and I'll let you all know.
Have any of you had any problems ordering from these guys? I ordered from them cause of all the "good" things mentioned about them on here but I don't know now?...

I FINALLY received my shims on 12/02/06 almost one month after I placed my order with these guys on 11/13/06...it shouldn't have taken this long to get them...

Hopefully no one else's order gets "overlooked" like mine did!!!

Anyways, I'm glad I got them and I'll be putting them on later this week...

Thanksgiving/Christmas backup at the post office?

Usually, I've found that US Postal Service isn't always on time even with priority mail. They say 1-3 days with Priority but in my experience it usually is between 2-5 days. Although I guess, it depends on where you're shipping to.

What you need to do is bait him with a taco .........

Seriously, this is a one guy operation not some big warehouse with hundreds of employees. Also has a muffler shop to run as well. As far as good things go, he's sending a second set which comes out of his own pocket. Don't write him off because of the post office.

The taco trick works as well

I would not worry, this is the most honest shop around he will take care of you.

but i do like the taco thing!! ahahah have to try that one!!

Gabe is solid people you got nothig to worry about

If you really want love, bring a chicken burrito with the works along with the taco.

Don't worry my dear, If Gabe says he's going to do it...you can bet your sweet cheeks that he will. Customer service for him is one of the most important things to him (along with the family and God). That holds true with not only business, but as ...well a person. He's one of the most stand up guys I have ever met and one of only a very small few that I can take him at his word.

I agree with the rest.. Gabe is a stand up guy.. and has always taken care of me even after the item was sold and delivered.. So you will get taken care of im sure...

On a side note.. I can beat all thous baits for Gabe.. Girls in bikini's on a FL beach..

I was at the post office yesterday and shipped out your spacers next day with the USPS and will be there tomorrow before noon. :D

gabe is a stand up guy. i have bought a few parts from him. im sure it was an honest mistake about your order being 'overlooked'.

I just finished installing my exhaust last week that i ordered... with the exception that somebody addressed my package to the wrong place, i couldnt be happier... it took 7 days longer to get my muffler cuz it was shipped to maryland instaed of NY... but Gabe was phenomenal in staying on top of fedex to get me my package...
i would not hesitate in buying from precision again... i would just write my address on every piece of mail and message that i send... in really large print... and flashing... and then call him... a lot...

but the quality is impecable... i manage for an autoparts store in NY and i see a lot of different brands and grades of exhaust and this definitely ranks high on my list of quality... almost as good as the customer service...
