Default Pro-Motion Tuning (aka Creative Compacts)

I have ordered through CreativeCompacts before and have been happy with their product and customer service but the order that I placed last week has been a disappointment. I specifically asked for UPS 2nd day air when placing the order and when I called to confirm the order I was told it would be sent as I requested. Today I find that they shipped it UPS ground and that 2nd day air is not an option. Huh? I really wanted to the the header/s-pipe installed before the supercharger but that won't be happening now.

Mr Lee:
My name is James. I am the owner and founder of Pro-Motion Tuning/CreativeCompacts.Com. I have taken SEVERAL of your phone calls. Sir, you ordered your item ONLINE. Online we only offer basic shipping options. If you chose to have a special shipping, we can usually do it over the phone. However we drop shipped the items from the manufacturer to speed up the process of your orders. Please be aware we are in VA, you are in HI. It does take awhile to get the items out to you. 2ND Day Air shipping was only an option on the S-PIPE and the manufacturer shipped it out UPS Ground. The Header was shipped last week by USPS and should be arriving to you this week. I have no information on when your supercharger is getting installed so I cannot advice if it will be there before then. So please in the future, CALL if you need a rush service. Do not place the order online and assume it will be shipped a special service. Just your ground shipping of the 2 ordered items carried an additional shipping charge because you are in HI. To date this still hasn;t been charged.

James,

I called first before placing the order online. I was told place it online and to make a notation of the shipping request which I did. I believe that I even notated 'to call me if there are any questions regarding the order. I also inquired about the cost of 2nd day UPS and was told that it would be approx. $80.

I do not feel that I assumed it would be shipped by a specific method as I asked for a specific method of shipping. I am also more than aware of the distance my order needs to travel, which is why I asked for 2nd day air. Oh and in my initial call I also asked if both items were available for immediate shipping and was assure that it was. If your online orders only offer basic shipping then I should not have been told to place my order via this method. I believe that I also re-verified the 2nd day air request during one of the subsequent phone conversations.

I just got my cc billing and noticed a separate and additional charge for shipping. This is fine but why even mention it in your post if you intended to add the additional charge on the very same day?
