Default REDLINE GOODS

now.. i know they have great products and all, but just doesnt seem like they care all too much about the effectiveness of my product.

i ordered the Custom Ebrake Boot for my scion tc and was freakin excited to put it on.. i had a new ebrake handle that i was dying to get on my car and hte minute this boot came in i ripped off that funky foam handle, strapped on hte new handle and installed hte boot. Low and behold, i find out that the Boot doesnt fit and that everytime i raise my ebrake, the boot ripps off hte lining and looks just absolutely horrible/ unprofessional.

now.. after many emails back and forth i was told that the solution to this was to adjust my ebrake...now.. i bought this product assuming it was going to be a perfect fit... so.. for them to tell me that i had to adjust my car to fit a product that theyre making to fit het TC perfectly doesnt sit right with me...so i let them knwo that i dont wanna have to change around my car to make this work...

at this point.. the guy gets pretty ____ed off and now is being pretty condesending...

you call that customer service? psh..

i give them.. 2 thumbs down..

This guy has a great product, and has great customer service. I had a problem with my shift boot in my xB. Well needless to say my emails were responded to promptly and although I ended up selling the car before needing a new boot, he was willing to help. I think the tC issue actually is your handbrake. Mine only goes up about 4-5 clicks. Ask your dealer to adjust it, or do the adjustment yourself, its fairly easy, and it would be nice to have incase you end up parking on a hill

^^^I agree, RedlineGoods sells a great product.

The fault is in the tC, not the boots. They come from the factory with a loose handbrake. Even the service manual states it should be 6-9 clicks. Mine was over 20 clicks! After I adjusted it to 7 clicks, the boot fit great.

Anyone have a quick DIY on how to adjust the ebrake?
