Hmm...maybe it's different for you because you local to him and can go to his house, business or whatever if ____ was to go sour.

Completely different if you are 1000+ miles away doing transactions over the internet or by phone...

Just sayin...

This utterly retarded statement better not be directed towards me. First off, check your tone. Second, do you see me bringing you into this? I really could care less about your opinion.

We get it he's your boy and you enjoy humping his leg. Now bug off.

I know Mike personally and have been tweaking TC's with the guy for 2 years now and not one single time have I ever seen him do anything shady at all. I mean anything! Not related to cars, just in general. I personally helped him pack up other parts and turbo kits he was selling to other people and he tried his best to triple check to make sure all the parts were in the box.

I'm not taking sides on the issue but accusing him of being a thief or a derivative thereof is just wrong. When it comes to long distance sales, no matter who's on either end, it's always tense and you start off on a tangent of "what ifs" when one little thing isn't perfect.

One piece of advice that I've had to follow myself is when you are currently in negotiations with someone over products/money, resolve it with the person 100% before posting reviews to get their attention. Jumping the gun is definitely not going to help your case.

Mike is a really busy guy and for the longest time, he had no job and had the worst luck of anyone I know. He worked so hard to get people's cars done that needed work for ridiculously cheap prices and sold off so many parts he "dreamed" of having when he was back on his custom kit after buying them new. I spend many hours at his house getting bitten by mosquitoes and rained on to finish projects and I live over an hour away! He never complained, griped or tried to steal things from people to make ends meet. He just worked harder.

Today is the first I've heard of this whole situation but I haven't had a chance to talk to Mike in about a month. THAT is when he got his job. 2 years of being the busiest unemployed person I knew, and now he landed a job tuning anything that comes through the door.

I'm not "humping" anybodys leg here and that, in my opinion, is a ignorant statement to begin with. Long story short, things happen and most things like this should be taken care of out of the public eye. Once resolved, feel free to express your experience but the experience isn't over yet and he's told me first hand everything he's tried to do to make you happy within his current, unforeseen circumstances.

If you want a 05-06 to 07+ MAF adapter, I'm pretty sure I have one you can have for free if you pay the shipping. Feel free to research my sales on SL. I always do everything through pay-pal and with tracking numbers. In regards to not installing a turbo kit you paid money for because of a T-Bolt, an easily replaceable FMIC (the dented one worked fine by the way), and a MAF adapter, that just sounds kind of odd. I could get all three of those things on my doorstep within a week for under 150 total. I would just ask for that money in return (whether in payments or lump sum), or any negotiated value for that matter.

Jerry, I just hope you can give him a chance to prove you wrong and get you everything as promised. Good luck in the future on buying things online. Everyone makes mistakes and sometime they go unnoticed for long periods of time. Descendant screwed up an order of mine over a year ago but once they found out what the problem was (1 month later) they overnighted that part and gave a bunch of free stuff. The next time I needed them for something, they shipped red label for free and had a new F/IC from Cali on my doorstep in 22 hours for 100 less than retail. BUT I gave them ample time as you did AND continued to be polite afterwards. Lack of communication can be frustrating but everyone on here has their own lives that come first in the pecking order. Give him a chance is all. I don't want to "attack or assault" you verbally or anything. I'll get an update for you if you like since I'm local.

some people can run into some rough time with money but for 8 months you cant save up $250 for a fmic? thats ridiculous.....also i dont see him trying to state his side of the story in the thread....only people that are friends are talking for him not himself. that just makes him look bad plain and simple

Rangerryda, I commend you for trying to provide a solution for the OP, however. He wouldn't have a potential solution from you if this thread wasn't made. We also would know nothing about the current situation that Mike is in. This thread is helpful. It gives us an insight of what has happened and in most cases where there is a resolution, the sellers redemption lies at the end of the thread.

If I was the OP, I probably would have acted the same. Time is money. Waiting 8 months or however long is unacceptable. This thread is pretty much a last resort to get something moving.

PS, I think you missed the money that Mike was suppose to send him for the polish. Either way, I doubt the OP wants to spend any additional money for things that were suppose to be previously received.

Getting a job anywhere is hard. I just bought a house, closed in late Sept and got laid off Oct 1st. Life ain't easy anywhere so it is kinda hard. Consider yourself fortunate. I'm selling my turbo kit at the moment. Mike realizes he needs to do something but can get frustrated with everything in his life plus this all at the same time. I just talked to him a minute ago on FB about it and he wants me to contact the OP to work something out on Mike's behalf. Mike is honest, can tune cars like crazy, but lacks in the communication dept. sometimes. We all have our flaws. OP, if you don't mind, I'll text you when you PM me and we'll go from there.

And for anyone that wants to chime in, his phone is not capable of calling the OP at this time. I even had to go through FB to get a hold of him. I'm leaving it at that.

why do you have to talk for mike to racersky? why would he even sell his turbo kit if he lacks communication skills? honestly if he can man up and call racersky that would be good on his part. but if he has verizon and he cant call racersky my cousin works at verizon and can fix his number in the morning...and if he doesnt want to do that he can go to a payphone and call racersky...im pretty sure he has coins laying around in his house

getting a job you like is hard. getting a job is not hard.

give the guy his parts or his money. what other resolution is there.
call the guy for christ sakes. not him or one of his family members or a friend has a working phone?

the seller was/is just avoiding the OP in hopes he would let it die.

seriously the OP has been very humble for 8 months but theres no excuse for him to wait 8 ____ing months for a fmic. racersky cant even play wit his car right now.....he could have started a coin jar for racersky....but if he cant save a dollar or two a day that he must be a homeless dude living in the streets

Come to Florida and try to find a job that pays more than unemployment and tell me it's easy to get a job. When you live on the Space Coast like me and the space program is going in the crapper, how many jobs do you think will be here in 2 months??? Regardless, Mike has a job now.

if mike has a job then where is racerskys money or fmic? and if you dont have a job im pretty sure mcdonalds or any fast food place is always hiring.....and im sure working at any fast food place that pays minimum wage is still a source of income to help pay bills

Why are you defending him when he is clearly never had any intention of sending the OP the parts
