Default Short Rant!

Why is it that folks post stuff up for sale and then not follow up on their own threads? My guess is that they must not really want to sell it or something. I mean, it would appear that in some cases they aren't even coming on the board for a day or two judging by the turn around time.

Secondly, I don't know about most of you guys but when I get a message stating that I just received payment from someone via paypal, I am usually quite excited and try to let them know right away how soon I plan on trying to mail out what ever it is that I sold. Once again, nothing. I sent money yesterday and received no response what so ever. No response to PM's or the paypal message. I just don't get it. I guess I am either expecting too much or just too damn impatient or maybe even both.

OK, I'm done.

As far as what I paid for yes. I made and offer, he said yes and sent me his paypal info. Done deal I would think. But no word.

I understand that everyone is not like me and that is fine. But it is just difficult to deal with at times. Hopefully I will hear something by tomorrow.

As for the other person posting something and no response, well, I made an offer and the guy has not checked the thread in over a day or so. Once again, waiting. At least there isn't any money riding on that one.

Seriously, I don't have time to wait for 2-4 days just to get a reply. I mean if someone sends you money with a note attached to it asking to let them know when you got it i would think you would reply. I also sent him two different emails as well as PM's so I would think he would have gotten the message between all of that and the messages that Paypal send out when there is a transaction. The worst part is that I can go to Ptuning tomorrow and pick up a set and install them when I get home. The car would be lowered just in time for our little meet on Sat! But, the money has already been sent and claimed by him. So, if I can't get ahold of him now while he has the money, how much easier will it be to make contact in asking for it back????

Yes, I have done springs before. Done them on two SER's, a 240, 2 suby's, an I35 and soon a tC! I have enough tools and a spring compressor. I already read through the how to just in case there was some sneaky scion procedure I have never seen before. Aside from all the panels that have to come out, it should be pretty straight forward. Oh, I almost forgot, I don't have any springs yet!!!!

You know, the poor guy is probably out of town or something like that. So I will wait until tomorrow before I lose my mind. I'm sure it will turn out alright.

I don't think your thinking is necessarily unusual. I think its a matter of courtesy if you know a transaction is underway to make a point to appear more and check messages, get back to buyer/seller etc. Its how I am when I ship things and expect the same from others but unfortunately some don't operate this way. Gl though

Well, "Mind Lost", still no communication what so ever. I opened up a claim with paypal at this point. I sent him another PM as well as another email requesting a refund at this point. So I guess we will see what happens. Sucks!

Finally, a PM just arrived from him (TommyPham) stating that he just got back on SL. I went ahead and asked for a refund. I mean, I didn't just send him PM's. I also sent emails to his personal address in addition to the messages sent via paypal. I find it odd that as soon as I file a claim, he comes on here and sends me a PM. I just don't have time for that sort of business.

Well, I have since received 2 messages and 1 phone call since going through paypal and filing a claim. I am told that they were shipped yesterday and that he is supposed to be sending me a tracking number today. We will see.
