Sorry to hear about all the crap, saw the car at SEMA and it looked good, so you must have presented it very well! Thought I would let you know they even feature your car on their site in the "services" tab down at the bottom as a work in progress....good luck!

This is the first series of photos, there will be more, but at the moment my car is covered in ashes & obviously the camera won't pick up the red speckles/uneveness in paint, etc.

So for now, cracks in the door jams, bubbles, uneveness on the edges that weren't even sprayed, pink radiator, wrong sized nut, crinkled paint around the tail light, etc.

Please note, every single bend in the body (i.e. door jams, in the engine bay, hatch & such) are ALL bubbles.

Right by my side-view mirror in the door jam, if I were to push on this even a little bit, it'll crack completely.

Wrong size in the crash beam

contemplating on if i should take the lip back to them or not.
got into a argument with my bro earlier and apparently he has no idea wtf is going on. his defense is "a&a has so much ____ right now so do you really want them to fix it? frank's a nice guy and you guys keep giving him ____. plus, your TWELVE you dont know what your doing" I DONT KNOW WTF IM DOING? I ACTUALLY HAVE A DAMN IDEA HOW TO RUN A BUISNESS. I DONT CARE HOW BUSY THEY ARE. I DONT CARE IF THEY HAVE 1 CAR IN TEH SHOP OR 100. I DONT GIVE A DAMN, FIX MY LIP! now, i didnt say that but i was about to. its complete bull crap on what my bro said. im getting sick of it. ive said ive wanted to cash out twice, and this bullish is making me want to AGAIN. i dont give a damn how busy they are, i want this piece of ____ sitting in MY ROOM to be fixed, cause right now i cant sell it and its basically just trash in my eyes right now.

F that. "franks a good guy".
bullish.

I worked SO DAMN HARD to get them to fix it, and guess what? my bro doesnt give a damn that THE HEAT SHIELD IS COMING OFF. HE needs to OPEN HIS DAMN EYES and realize that no matter how busy they are they have to fix it. period.

It looks like they tried to use a paint brush for some of the sections.

TY Tina, I guess you can live.

Because my car had to go to SEMA. I couldn't let down my sponsors.

I understand you didnt want to let down your sponsors. My xB was suppose to be out there two years ago but didnt make it because my painter slacked and didnt have it done in time.

Did you ever go to the shop before the car was ready for SEMA and see the color?

Did you tell them at that time that it was the wrong color?

Absolutely, & they claimed thats the color I picked but it definitely wasn't. The owner of the shop mixed up 12 different samples for me & he never wrote down the mixture of any of them & claimed he'd remember it exactly. I know what I picked & that wasn't it. Also, I was already pressed for time as they had told me it would take 3 weeks to complete everything & it was painted in the 10th week. I picked my car up the night before roll-in to SEMA on fresh paint. The paint was only put outside to dry for 2 days before I had to drive it to Las Vegas There wouldn't have been time to respray/reprep the car.

Thats why when I do custom paint, I do a test panel and the customer actually physically signs the panel that they pick. Then there is no confusion...

Ive learned with all projects that you cant put a deadline on it. Because as the deadline starts to get closer, corners start to get cut to make it.... No deadlines=happy customers

thats because you clearly know how to run a business and take the customers in mind, not yourself.

Damn! until I saw the pics I didn't think it was that bad, were they the same ones who painted it prior to united? It looked different when I saw it at united.

Nope, the body of the car hasn't been touched since United. Most of the pics I posted are in the jams, that's why it's not visible from the outside.

Maybe you're thinking of when the car was blue? If so, then another shop had painted it at that time, a GOOD shop, the shop I should've had paint it this time around, too. My old body shop 2-toned my car in 4 days, IN THE WINTER, with no oven & I NEVER ran into a single problem with it.

well what I ment is I saw it at united when it was pink, and I didn't know when it was first painted pink to be honest

However it looked a heck of a lot better at united, hope you get it all resolved!
