So i bought a used alphawerks header from a kid here on scionlife, sent him the money through paypal and just said give me the tracking number when it's on the way. He messages me and said he sent it out through USPS, and I said "ok cool, no biggie". Well yesterday I get a package from the kid, but open it and it's christmas presents from Spain. I get ahold of him on AIM and he says he packaged it himself, and taped the paypal shipping label on there himself. This label was on the box I received, but taped directly over another shipping label. So somebody at USPS physically took the label off, and put it on another package for god knows what reason. I called USPS and filed a complaint, and asked what will happen if it doesn't "turn up", and they said that if I didnt buy insurance than they are not liable for losing it. The kid didn't buy insurance, which is understandable cause I probably wouldn't have thought to do that either. So what can I do so that Im not totally out of luck here. Im very poor, hence buying a used header.

 

with no insurance. you're just screwed. but don't worry the kids that for your header is just as useless and gifts from spain.

well im not saying anything here, but he may not have sent the header and and opted not to get the insurance for that reason. now he has your money and still has the header....minus a few gifts from spain

 

but if he did send it. i mean that there are little spaniards somewhere with your header and don't know what to do with it.

I bought it from whitetc21, but i dont think it was a scam because the package that i was sent, had another woman's information on it, so i called her, and she said that i received the package of presents from her brother in Spain. She had been waiting on it, so it was a legit package from spain, not from whitetc21. But I was hoping USPS would do something about it since obviously the tag was taken off my header box, and placed on this one. That means there's a header floating somewhere out there that someone accidently received and hopefully they do what I did and called USPS.
