I got my Wades off someone on ebay. They installed easily and are holding up well so far.

Hated mine, got rid of them. The seals around both rear windows were bulging, and pretty bad - not just bulging, but being pushed out of the housing.

mine were pretty bad too. the fronts where ok, but the rear window sets needed to be shaved to fit... and even then they still don't fit well. i actually had to go out and buy mounting tape and remount the rear ones after shaving them. The rear windows make a loud noise whenever i roll them down. I've found now that the front set causes the interior door panel to move ever so slightly.

I regret buying my set. I may or may not redo them in the future.

Some of this is a general problem with in-channel visors...

but my experience installing the wades does not make me think its a quality product

As opposed to damaging my paint with stick on visors, I'll choose what I believe the lesser of two evils. I think the esams look better, but I laugh at the idea of having gummy residue on my paint.

actually i'll retract part of my statement... looking it over, I may have been unneccesarily harsh.

Truth is though, I DID receive an ill fitting set of visors. Had I not bought them (new, not used) from an ebay seller, I probably would've returned them. As it stands I didn't want to go through the hassle. My chief regret is not spending a little more money and perhaps going with the weathertechs.

As it is, I don't know if the wades are the best inchannel visors. But I AM far from happy with them. They are still on my car though, so I guess that counts for something.

The esams look hot, but they cost far too much for something that can be ripped right off.

for prospective buyers
My assessment of the wades stands at still:
not recommended. The trade offs are numerous, and I wouldn't really recommend something unless I knew the buyer would be completely happy with it.

I'd say buy the wades or weathertechs from a reputable source that you know you can make returns to. That way if you don't like them or get a bum set you can return them.
