Thumbs down warning about modifymyscion.com

I recently attempted to purchase a KRS body kit from ModifyMyScion.com and wanted to make the community aware of my troubles. If anyone would like me to forward the distasteful emails that were sent to me regarding my purchase from the owner of the website please let me know. The basic wrap up is that their customer service was completely aweful. I can admit i was a frustrated customer wanting to know when my order would be recieved but as a company they handled it very un-appropriately. I asked for a refund and instead of ever giving my refund they proceeded to call me, and i quoat "a loser, immature, crybaby." and many other rude sentences were also typed. I do not suggest in my opinion that any enthusiast buy from their site, if you should choose to ask for the emails that were sent, i advise that they are being sent to you for your own personal opinion and not to "slander" their company, because they are threatening to sue me if i should say anything to the scion community about my experience. Just send me a message and i will get back to you ASAP. Oh and on a good note, extreme dimensions (who makes the kit) gives superb customer service, buy direct from them!!!!

I bought a AEM, CAI from modifymyscion.com, 3 months ago, no problems, fast shipping, and it was easy. Maybe you had an employee who quit or was having a bad day. My friend bought a body kit and had a hard time from Killer Scion. It arrived needing a lot of extra prep and he could not return it. I have read others complaining about ED's body kits not arriving perfect. I think it is the nature of the product. My friend is opening up a new shop for CAI's called, trackhouse.com . it should have the best prices on the web and he is a smart guy.

It amazes me how crappy some companies' customer service is. Thanks for posting and letting everyone know what to expect from this company

Default Scion sites

The only issue I had with these guys was the shipping delay on one order. I bought some MimoUSA mirrors that took 2 weeks to get. In all fairness, MimoUSA takes for ever to ship and MMS had to order from them. MMS has new management since June and they are adding hundred of items with the best prices on the web. I have bought a CAI and cat back exhaust with now problems. I am saving for a new grill and spoiler. My friend uses MMS too with no complaints. Sometimes I think the competition with higher prices tries to bag on their fellow sites to make them look bad. Don't be a sheep, do your own research. AND race that tC!!!!

It's not all about research. Sometimes a company with a lot of satisfied buyers can still have bad customer service. It's all in how they take care of the customer AFTER the sale, and AFTER your $$$ is already in their pockets.

I've had my own problem like this, and wanted to warn everyone about some bad business practices (which have now been reported to the BBB for handling).

As for not being a "sheep"? I'm not going to try so hard not to be a sheep, that I'll automatically jump to assuming the reasoning behind why the OP posted her problem. Considering that you joined the day of your first post, along with the fact that the only posts you've made have been to defend MMS, I'm now more inclined to believe her experience. (How's that for doing my own research?)

I own two businesses at the moment (an esthetics/makeup service that I've been televised numerous times locally for and have owned for almost 7 years, and a photography business that's been going strong for about a year and a half), and am in the process of opening a specialized bakery/cake shop in my town. I don't own successful businesses at 25 for no reason. Companies need to realize customer service is KEY.

Also OP, just a quick FYI, the business can NOT sue you for slander if the information being provided is true. The very legal definition of "slander" provides for "false statements that are harmful to a person/business' reputation". If you are simply showing emails that came from the company, there is nothing they can do about it. Just be sure not to falsify information or accusations and they won't have a legal leg to stand on ;)

Okay, seriously. This is the buyers/sellers feedback forum. If someone has a problem with a company, they post it here. This is NOT a place to bicker back and forth.

I don't want to see any more of that in this thread. Understood?
