Default Watch out for Sport Compact Only!

Watch out when shopping at sportcompactonly.com! I ordered two strut bars and an exhaust. I was told that the exhaust qualified for the christmas rebate ($50) by the sales rep and the website further confirmed it but when I called they (another rep) told me the exhaust was not over $500 so did not qualify. The website never said it had to be over $500 and the rep used the rebate in his sales pitch. Nobody ever contacted me about this and when I would write them there was no response. I have also been waiting for the front strut bar since 12/20/05 and keep getting told it's on the way. I deal with someone different each time and the original sales man has mysteriously been gone for the last two months. The company is not ran well and I would never do business with them again. If you choose to just remember, you have been warned.

Never heard of them actually... but good to know the warning.

I would recommend just keep hounding them. Keep calling. Keep emailing. Everything. Either get your money back or get your parts for the prices they offered.

Damn, thanks for posting up your experience. I was looking for the cheapest prices I could find on a Perrin twin tip catback exhaust for an 05 Sti. And I narrowed it down to two sites. sportcompactonly has it for $620.97 and horsepowerfreaks.com has it for $620.99. I've bought from horsepowerfreaks and I will definitely be buying from them not sportcompact only. Thanks bro.

Yeah, I've ordered from them twice before with no problems. So 2 cents or not, they've got my business.

Sportcompactonly.com used to be known as southwestautoworks.com and back them they only delt with Nissan parts. They used to be really good. I think someone bought them out or something like that. Anyway after that they started to carry other part for other cars and things went down hill. The only person I ever delt with was Steve. But my last experience with them wasn't that great.

We ordered a header for my brothers altima and 6 weeks later it still wasn't shipped. I had 0 contact from anyone at SCO so I called them up as was like WTF? The headers was on back order and no one apparently bother to tell us. So we changed the order from a Hotshot header to a stillen and it got here in a week or so. In the end they made everything right but it took almost 2 months. Just thought I'd share with you guys.
