Watch what happens with your TC dont be SOL
I ordered some parts from ZPI racing and i had parts on the way getting ready for a big turbo kit.. well on my way to work one morning a semi (18 wheeler) merged off and hit my car well turned out the car was totaled cuz it doesnt take much to total a TC... Well it took me 2 weeks to get ZPI to gimme a refund and they said we normally dont do this but we will cuz of what happend... i paid to send the Clutch and the Pistons back i even have the recipt from USPS... well its been 2 months and they keep blowing me off for my 1000$$ spent there.. so everyone watch out cuz i may have to take legal action here and its sad a company cant even go off there word... neone else had problems like this??? or any idea what i should do??? get back to me thanks
i had a firebird that was totalled the same way ____ing eighteen wheelers, when i had somestuff inmy car "performance wise" i had the eighteenwheeler insurance pay it, accadent or no accadent, most people try to scam them and get thousands and THOUSANDS of dolllars, but i told her i just bought some parts and they can't be exchanged, and she told me they would pay for money i put into the car, now if that works for you, that company STILL have togive you your pistons and stuff back if they don't pay you, then you can go and sell them on e-bay you might not get what you payed but if the insurance pays then you make double... i know it sounds shaddy, but at least your not sueing the poor man for all hes got.... thats what most people do
I've heard of this happening before on here from someone. Not exactly the same situation, but both involved getting money back. Keep on them, call and email everyday, and if that doesn't work, talk to a lawyer and threaten to sue them for the money+court costs+whatever else your lawyer can get. And if it still doesn't work, actually sue them. It would suck to have to go that far, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Those guys are shady... I posted some comments about them before and got negative feedback. I am from Louisville, Kentucy originally and that is where ZPI is located. I have heard so much about them taking people's money, closing shop, moving across town and setting up shop again only to keep doing the same. Thier name is not the best in Louisville. I personally do not trust companies like that...there are a couple places in Louisville that work the same way...avoid them would be my 2 cents worth. As for your situation, I hope you have a good lawyer because I think these guys have money or I heard something about one of the owners girl's dad is a financial backer of the company...I have heard some bad stuff...and I will probably get blasted on here for it...so be it...I hate people who do tuners wrong...that is what screws up good things like tuning cars, trusting people in the industry, and makes finding quality stuff harder to do...my rant is done...

same thing happens to me whenever i question zpi's reputation or brand quality....
theres nothing wrong with defending a company product you believe in (or bought products from) but don't go jumping down peoples throat when they don't agree with your analysis.
i'm very sketchy about all the companies that suddenly popped up right after the tc was released and started selling turbo kits before well known/seasoned companies even had time to R&D......
and heres the proof in the pudding, a less than satisfied ZPI customer.
lets just say, I would never send my money to a relatively unknown grassroots startup company that i'd never heard of before coming to SL
It's crazy, if they had good customer service, they would be an awesome company, but there are so many people with bad stories, that I can't imagine that they can stay above the water for too long. Just as a suggestion, ZPI, get some good CS and you guys will do really well...
