Default WheelsNext.com buying experience

Don't buy from wheelsnext.com here is why:

I recently ordered a set of wheels and tires from WheelsNext on June 2, 2006. I ordered the 19" KONIG UNKNOWN (MACHINED FACE) with Toyo Proxies 265/30/19. Immediately after ordering these wheels the problems
began. Upon purchasing these wheels my credit card was charged as usual, in the mean time I found these EXACT same wheels and BETTER tires locally in Phoenix and were IN STOCK for $300.00 cheaper (including tax) and I could have them installed same day. After discussing this matter with the sales person at WheelsNext.com and to cancel my order he convinced me to order them from WheelsNext.com at a discounted price (close but not cheaper than) and being that my order was already in process. According to the sales person, credited would be put back on to my card once the wheels were shipped from WheelsNext.com THIS CREDIT HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO MY CARD TO THIS DAY! Even after writing to the company shortly after the order was shipped from WheelsNext.com.

The next problem that I had was after I mounted the new wheels I was experiencing some vibration at highway speeds in my steering wheel. I took my car to the same local tire shop I was originally going to purchase the wheels at. They mentioned to me that NONE of the 4 tires had been properly balanced which is why I was experiencing vibration in my steering wheel. They then charged me $48.00 to PROPERLY balance the wheels/tires WheelsNext.com should have done "professionally" according to their web site in the first place. With that, one of
the "Konig" logos has fallen off the same wheel that was the most unbalanced according to the tire shop.

This was my experience with this company and I will never do business with them again. They still haven't responded to me and I feel ripped off and unappreciated as a customer. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone including fellow Scion owners on this site.

They do, but always give me some excuse or transpher me to someone else. I don't have time to sit on hold, or keep hearing their poor excuses. This is my only solution to inform others and save them from having the same problems I had.

Had somewhat of trying experience with "Wheels Boutique," still to this day they haven't refunded my money back... thank god for BofA to the rescue.

I can empathize & sympathize.

tim, i'm sorry you had that experience and i see that you have clicked "forums" up ^ there to post in the appropriate forum. but this is the wrong forum for this issue. this thread belongs in the "retail and dealer experiences" (shop experiences) forum which is one of the "general" forums. i'm going to move it there. good luck with your problem.

I ordered a wheel+tire package and i got it witout any problems... this was half a year ago..

last month my mom had some accident.. bot wheel damaged.. so i had to order another two wheel...

this is what happened in the last week:

when i ordered i told them im going to pick it up.
they told me to wait until tue. and call...

ok.. so i called them on tuesday. and they told me to wait until tomorrow...

ok so i called them.. they told me thyey gonna ship it to me... GREAT...

so i waited a few days they told me they gonna get the weels back from fedex.... so i can pick it up next week.. ok.. so i called them later.. they told me : they will ship it.. and they told me the tracking number.. nexd day i called fedex. they have no tracking number like that.. ok.. so i called the guy again and he said he doesnt know where is the wheel hes gonna call fedex...

i was like.. WOW>.. thats impressive...

so i called them next day.. they got the weel.. YEAH!! how can i get there, what time they are open?

i sent me an email about it.. so my mom went to get the wheels..
shes arrives.. and the guy to my mom: Chaba sent you here?? for what? i told him we gonna ship the wheels

my mom called me.. i had to hang up because that was the "last drop in the cup " i didnt wanted to deal with them.. this is pathetic!!!

so they went to look for the weels and they found it !!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL........ i cant believe this.....................

i never had so much problem with them before...

so i told them to get me another similiar tire... my mom got there a guy came out.. she saw my mom.. the guy fell in love with my mom.. he went inside and found a tire for her ... THE TIRE WHAT THEY DONT HAVE ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!! he even surprised my mom with a red insert for her konig hotswap.. for free wich is good but still they are pain in the ___.. im always have to wait at least 20 mins on hold to speak to someone and of course he asked my mom is she could go out with him to have a dinner.... of course she turned him down with a big THANKS>> NO!

Dont buy from these people, here is what happened to me:

They said the tire and wheel package I would get is the same exact size as stock. Well its not and now I can only use TRD springs to lower my car. The offset is wrong and they are too wide!

I had problems with this company as well. First it took forever for them to answer the phone after many many times trying to contact them. Second it was about 3 weeks before they sent the wheels and tires out to me because apparently they were waiting on one wheel to come in. Instead of letting me know, they just let me wait. Then once I got them mounted on the car, the vibration was terrible!!!! I had to pay to have them re balanced and when I did that, the tech who was re balancing them showed me a big scrape on the lip of one of the wheels from someone who didn't put the tire on right. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They are awful at their job and customer service. There are way too many good companies to go through so don't get anything from wheelsnext

mostly ... If you guys want to make a complain ,make sure ask for someone that have authority to do the refund (supervisor or manager) not some regular sales person that just want to make sales don't want to take care customer.
I bought my wheels & tires from Wheelmax.com before and they do reimburse me the balancing fee ,because that they fault.......
God luck guys....
