OK, just did the install on mine which came faster the Jeff said they would. Here are some pointers for the first gen box.

1) Remove both plastic sides on the front seats, not just the outside.
2) Under the front seats there is a metal bar that runs across the seat underneath, try and run the strap over the top of the bar closest to the foam, it will give you more strap to grab and pull tight.
3) Be prepared to wrastle the covers and esp. the head rests. I was standing up in the box to get better leverage and im 6'2".
4) When working keep an eye on your hands, they will get grease from the front seats rails.

It took the better part of 2 hours to install them. Fingers hurt, but its well worth it. I wouldnt want to be the one who installs these al day.

Default Clazzio works for me

Installed my Clazzio covers. The fit and appearance is on the money.

A few tips for tC owners.

On the back seat cushing I found the area near the seatbelt holes to be a bit loose. Flip the seat cushing upside down and look at the seatbelt holes. Make note of the strips of cloth they used to pull and secure that part of the cover. I purchased some upholstery thread and needle kit. Cut a piece of fabric and sew it onto the clazzio cover. Use the OEM cover as a point of referrence. Two strips per seatbelt hole.

Put the clazzio cover on and pull the fabri strips to secure the cover. Use the thread to secure the fabric strips. You will see that the cover is now tighter in this area.

So we've finally convinced them to start on the xD seat cover. It will be slated for a year end launch though (they will be sending their staff from Japan to do the measuring this summer).

It's a good chance to get some custom orders going too, since the wait time is there. Once I receive the OK that the seat cover is ready to go, I'll start a xD only thread.

XD special request:

Black outer w/ red suede inner and ivory stitching.

Since they are in the measuring stages, maybe red suede is a possibility

maybe they already have it?

I have a barcelona red paint.

I'm sure others would dig a red seude inner too.

Once the measuring is done, I'll have a thread up. The first batch can all be custom ordered (no worries on that), but I don't think the suede was available in Red (only leather).

Ok, if no red then I will do ivory suede with black sides and red stitching.

Maybe they will get red suede. Just a suggestion and hopefully one well recieved.

What do you need from me here on this end at this point in time?

Yup. All the kits are for front and rear rows. ATM, they are only sold as a complete set.

The full set with suede center is $339.15 shipped (add 8.25% tax if in California)

The full set with perforated leather center is $424.15 shipped (add 8.25% tax if in California)

I will be starting an xD-specific thread in the future (once they measure the seats and are ready to go into production). I was told it will be this summer, but I'll have a new thread going once it's official.
