Sounds good, the Clear Finish covers came out amazing unfortunitly I can't make the clear finish ones anymore.

 

Why what changes? I am thinkin i am going to do my valve cover in Flat black. I think that should bring the spark plug cover out more...

 

When I get the Clear finished material it is alot harder and comes in large rolls so it is very hard to keep flat on the router.

Oh yeah I'm sorry I checked it very late last night I forgot to get back to you, for my valve cover we powder coated it, first we cleaned all the oil off then sand blasted it. After we used a chemical cleaner. The main thing with powder coating it was we need to get all the oil off. For you if you are painting it I think you just need to clean the top off and use a primer then paint. I'm sure there are other people that know alot more about painting than me and would have better advise. I would offer to powder coat you Valve cover but unfortunitly we no longer do powder coating.
