question, 300V comes only as 10w40? and about the gear oil, any chance you have feedback on that? maybe comparison to stock or to the famous mt90 that everyone is already having issues with?lol

I use mt90 with no issues?

ive rebuilt my trans taken apart to check clearances. never had an issue!

The funny thing is, people think that when a sleeve goes bad on there tranny and starts grinding that fluid can fix this!

Fix the tranny go with a good fluid like mt90 no issues!

well thats good you dont have issues. But many made a switch then started to have issues, worst case having problem shifting to gear and some grinding.. changed to another gear oil and its fixed, many of those having problems are on stock tc.. their tranny cant be bad coz their problem went away when they changed fluid.

I dont really have any real issue, the whining on the tranny when cold is something I already considered normal when using denser oil.. Im just curious to see feedbacks as some have seen improvements when switching to other brands like amsoil or eonos

Companies such as Motul, Eneos and Redline are Tier IV lubricants meaning they are all PAO based lubricants. The only differences are the additives the particular manufacturers add in. I personally have had no problems with Redline and feel that it is comparable to Motul. That's my opinion. I had to use the Motul in a tC trans with an OS Giken diff because the MT-90 was not formulated for that type of friction based differential. So I had to use Gear 300 which is a GL-5 lubricant.

Either one will do the job sufficiently, I like redline and Motul. I have used both and either will do it. So at this point if you have had issues with Redline and don't trust it then I say make the switch to Motul. Either one works.

this is because thicker oil. Thicker oil will chusion the grind and help you get it in. yet offering a less smooth shift!

IMO, fix the issue install good fluid..

Like don said.. im sure there both good fluids.. Just stay away from Royal purple!
