I have a version of the snap mount leds which are the superflux leds I carry. I do not carry that actual array.

Are the dome lights for the tC still on backorder? Thinking on switching out the blue theme and go with white.

 

Hi Jeremy, I literally just finished installing all the dome and trunk LEDs bought from you. Fitment was virtually perfect save for the trunk light, which was a pain to fit in the housing. When I was struggling to get the trunk LED fit I accidentally flip the on on/off switch a few times, thus triggering the LED to flash on and off a few times. Suddenly, ALL the dome LEDs (which I had turned on to help me working in the dark. It's 9pm here in CA) went out. ALL!!! I checked the fuse. And as I feared, it was blown.

Should I be concerned? Is it a coincident?

 

It has happened before many times when people install the rear trunk light. If the bulb gets powered on and hits the back metal, it shorts out and pops a fuse. Not a big deal in any way, just replace the fuse and you are good to go!

I see. I'll replace the fuse today and pray it won't blow again. The LEDs look great btw. Let's hope they last

 

No worries, fuses do not blow unless shorts occure, the short happened when you bumped he back of the housing with the bulb. You are set!
