from inside or outside of the hatch......i saw where it plugs in from the back..but do you change them from the back or the front...

Inside the hatch. Just remove the two small covers on the inside of the hatch to access.

 

ok.......now do you unlug that little plug and does it come straight out or do you have to take a piece out..sorry for the questions..does anything twist any tools needed

 

No tools needed. The sockets twist to remove them from the lens housings. The pull the oem bulbs out.

 

ok.....last question does it twist left or right.....i bet ya its so simple but i tried i was puling out that why i couldnt get it.....

 

From memory, it twists to the left.

The only tool you might is a set of plyers....Its a paint in the @$$ if its the first time removing the bulbs. If you do it by hand, your one stong person lol

 

Garage, i sent the bulbs back the other day. you should get them soon.

 

got my stuff today, now i just gotta crack open the gauges and get to soldering ;) thanks much.

 

If you have the 08+Headlights they shouldnt burn out as fast. I have had them for a little over 5 months and no burn yet still as bright as the day i got them

 

yea i had to use plyiers no way my hands could do it just to big...not enough room....

 

i use pliers too , turn it counterclockwise a little the pull it out by hand

 

once you get it out the first time it easy the next time.i have white ones now they look so nice...

 

iv heard good things about these bulbs
will be ordering two whites for my licence plat tonight and one for the dome light

 

they look so much nicer..i was goona do blue but wasnt feeling it..i have 2 blue lights when you open the door and one white as the doom.......plus the cubby also now that i know how to get to them next time will be much easier
