Anybody bought a 12000K HID kit yet? Would like to see operatic's 12000K HIDs.

Not ragging on anyone's color choice, but those 10000k and up bulbs are sure not putting out much light compared to the lower color temp bulbs.

The 4300k and most 5-6000k bulbs put out the most (some 5-6000k bulbs put out a little less than the 4300k), but as you go up from there the light output goes down pretty sharply. Even the 12000k should put out more than the OEM low beam but may not put out as much (or much more) than the OEM high beam. And on a single bulb (H4) setup like the xB you will end up with nice LOOKING lights that may not light up the road as much as the cheap OEM bulbs on high beam.

For a car with four bulbs, not as big a deal since you can look cool and blue/purple then light up the road with the (yellowish) high beams when you need to, but it is something to think about if replacing OEM single high/low halogens with a single H4 setup.

These come with a relay harness for the advertised price - no need to pay extra, unless you just want to :D

This is cool, for some reason my 8000k kit looks more purple than blue. I actually had to readjust my headlights UP. I wasn't getting the light output distance I wanted. Pics comeing soon.

If you have the stock housings, look in the rear in between the high and low beam. You will see a small, silver gear looking device. It has an 8mm socket attachment on it that you can use. Turn your lights on against a wall and begin to turn the silver gear. Righty tighty should lower the headlight and lefty loosey should lift it up.

hmm its kinda cold outside but basically i separated the power of the hids from the sound system and it still does it, when i turn the hids off the noise goes away, same thing when the lights are on and the radio off the noise goes away. i routed the wire away from the sound system wire
