hey, im just wondering about the Ballast details. Says that some cars require higher wattage ballast? I have a 09 Tc. Will the 35W ballast work just fine?

 

I think you can go either 35W or 55W. It shouldn't differ too greatly. I personally just prefer the less Wattage use of my battery.

 

What is the advantage of each of the ballasts?

Also, does a 2007 tC require a plug and play harness or a relay harness?

35w ballast is what most everyone uses. If you want to be even brighter then the 50w option is there.

After ordering a set of HID's for my spec about 2 years ago I could not have been more happy with them unfortunately though its time had passed. So i need another set. I log on here and I see your right at the top of Sponsored sales, After 2 years your still on top. Mind you i'm coming over from the nissan boards just so I can be fortunate enough to get your HID's lol.

would these be better for tinted headlights? and are they compatible with the bulbs i already have patttttt??????? why have you not told me this before!?! how much for a set of 50w ballast for my low beams?

 

So the 50w makes them brighter, but lowers the temperature 1000k?

What about the plug and play vs relay? Not sure what I need.

Yes that is correct. As for the plug and play vs relay, most people opt for the plug and play as it is just easier to install.

 

I ended up ordering one with a relay yesterday after reading about the benefits of that over plug and play.

Ok, so is it still $100 for an HID kit?
5000k w/ H11 bulbs but connects into a 9006 harness, if I'm explaining that right.

 

I just picked up some headlights and they fit H1 bulbs in it. I already have H1 bulbs in the headlights, but I have no ballast.

I am looking to get an HID kit with H1 bulbs in the 6000k. Ready to buy now.
