Man, got it installed in the rain, looks GR8, then last night, I got flashed multiple times by Benz, BMW, Audi etc. It was foggy and I can see the projection far far away, I turned the **** to lower them. After I got home, I played around the aiming using the forum xb manual, and it pointed right up as before, so I lowered them again. It was ____ing me off because I couldn't flash them back since I only got the low beam , I wish I got the money for the bi-xenon kit !!!!!!

Hey again, I checked my my ground and everything is fine, however it still flickers once every time I turn on my HIDs. For those of you who installed this kit, where did you guys stabilize the ballasts and ground the wires? Thanks for any help and info.

Yup, it's normal. HIDs ignite. Nothing to worry about. On start up, there'll be a blue flash, and then they'll warm up... in my experience, it takes about 10-15 seconds for them to come to their normal color and output.

This kit, it's done it from day one for me, will ignite and slowly brighten and then lower back down to normal color temp. After about 1 minute, the right one will pulse 1 time and then the left one 3 seconds later..............that's it .

It's kind of a charge lock that happens in the ballasts so that as the bulbs reach their specified temperature, they are "locked" into that amount of electricity and it remains constant.

Normal

Behind my front bumper (metal support)...zip ties and twisting wire.

Further back a few pages you should see a post of it.

I mounted my fog ballasts there, you think there's enough room for my low beams as well?

Should be plenty of room....if not, you'll have to mount the behind the headlight housing somewhere.....maybe the fender side or something with some 3M tape.

Where did you put your ground wire if you mounted it on the metal support? I might just redo my set-up this weekend when I have time, thanks again Webbly.

I'll be ordering some this wed operatic. I was wondering which would be better, 5000K or 6000K. i know that 6K has more of a blueish color to it and 5K is more or crystal white, but which would be better?
