hey breaux don't be such a hater. That's like an underground artist signing to big record label. It's not selling out, it's just good business. Imagine if no one sold their service or product to the masses. There would be no Mountain Dew or computers.

It's not like he is photo-copying the same art on every cover... it's all unique... no matter who owns it! It's like painting masterpieces and not going to art auctions for people to buy/enjoy your work in their home. Nothing wrong with that IMO.
I very much realize that each piece created is going to be unique but i am not speaking in terms of the artwork specifically. I am speaking in more general terms, the artwork in and of its self. Even if captain sells something remotely close to what he has, its going to detract from the "uniqueness" that captain has created for himself. I can understand trying to sell "uniqueness", believe me. I have been doing artwork for different people on vans slip-ons since 2006. Captain created something very unique for himself, a type of artwork that really isn't seen too often, at least by myself. So for other people to have it, it will not simply say "oh hey, that's captain's hood/engine cover/etc." I'm not looking for a fight by any means so there is no reason to have any defensive posts about the selling of the art work. Just one artist speaking to another. Nothing more, nothing less. I apologize as i have unconsciously cuased unrest amongst my fellow SLers.

I knew what you meant, it's cool. I dunno why everyone seems to be so eager to defend me.
I've been considering writing "captainlaziness" on everything real big just so everyone knows what's up. : p
