t_urbo_C_harged - The fuel trim was a nice surprise, it also is supposed to do O2 now which of course won't be as accurate as a wideband but at least it is a step up from not knowing!
Yeah I tried doing the o2 and it wasn't working for some reason but I didn't go back and check my numbers or try it again... also on all of the numbers I put into the scangauge I used all of the canxx fuel trim and hp numbers... I used can also for the o2 but that one didn't work for me yet... I will let you know!

Since I don't feel like reading 20+ pages of stuff, anyone have feedback on the fuel economy accuracy? I'm assuming it's based off InjPW1-4. Is it average or instant?

It is averaged (display is instant but trip/tank is averaged) and provided you set up the gauge speed correctly seems to be spot on! My stock speedo is 5+ MPH off depending on how fast I'm going according to the GPS and the ScanGaugeII is right on the money so if you just do a fuel pump tally with what you put in the tank and the ODO reading you are off by a bit for sure if the wheel combo has been changed.

Ah, so I'm assuming the average can just be reset whenever? My Jeep's on-board computer does average fuel consumption, but if you reset it, you basically get instant fuel consumption for about 5 miles (since it doesn't have enough data to prevent it from changing from 40mpg to 2mpg in 5 seconds).

I'm gonna have to pick one of these up in the near future, once I start selling my old parts and getting some paypal money, I'll order one.

It has a multi-function trip computer taking not just MPG but other readings like miles traveled, time driving, max water temp, max rpm, max speed and few others and gives them to you in 4 displays....
Current trip - from when you start the car up to when you turn it off.
Today - an average of all trips today.
Prior day - average of all trips yesterday.
Tank - average as of last fillup.

-the day to prior day is determined by time car has been off so if you drive somewhere at 6am-6:30am and park the car till 8pm it migh show the fist trip as prior I forget the time in-between..

yeah... if you don't like it that low it comes with 2 double sided sticky pads so you can mount it anywhere... just an fyi though you cannot view fuel trims, hp, o2, etc without inputing the numbers in the xgauge portion of the gauge, I have the link if you need it and I can give you a quick rundown on how to do it...
