Hey guys,
Recently picked up an 06 with a manual trans. I have been trying to fix little things here and there on the car. And I noticed the bulbs hanging out.
I talked to my rep at Autozone and they were stumped as well. I assume it's the running light, not fog because mine is not equipped. The previous owner added led bulbs but the bulb holder does not lock into the housing, so it just falls out. The led's are fine but I need the correct adapter/bulb holder. Any help is appreciated!

Hello everyone,

My first post here. I'm having a strange electrical issue with my 2014 Scion tC:

Tail lights: Fade away and stop working when starting the car (brake lights work fine)

Rear backup camera: Flickers on/off

Check engine code: P0327 (Knock Sensor Low Input) – came and went

I found a taillight wiring diagram, but it's for an xA and doesn't match my tC.

Could someone share the correct EWD for the tC2? Any advice on a common failure point (bad ground, short, etc.) linking these three issues would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Everyone,
My 2005 xA has been sitting for about 5 years and I'm going to try to either get it running or sell it for scrap. It was running when we parked it, but dis have a bad CV Axle on the passenger side. We were gifted a newer car and parked the xA olin a spot to prevent neighbors from parking in our yard, so it did serve a specific purpose instead of being repaired and used as a backup car.

Going to do the regular emotions: New Oil, Pull Plugs and oil the cylinders, pull pump fuse, and crank a bit to break things free. Then drain the gas and put new fuel in and try to see if it runs. If that's a success I will do the remaining services and decide from there.

Before I begin, is there a drain plug in the xA tank or do I have to pull the seat and siphon gas through the fuel pump access???

I couldn't find any xAs but a few xB pump replacements in service write ups and YouTube videos. Any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

Makes a weird clicking noise when it won't read the discs so i have to eject it and try again, annoying as hell.

Is it done for or will a lens cleaning fix it?

So I've been setting this aside for a a while because I thoughtit was no big deal. When I'm using the AC I can feel the engine vibrate but only whe stationary. Let me mention that all four engine mounts are brand new OEM. Anyway, today I was refreshing the ac system and while I was at it I placed a cup of water on top of the engine with the ac on and with it off. The ripples with the ac on are drastically more violent. I don't feel it much when I'm inside but I don't think this is normal. Is this familiar to someone's car?

Today I noticed that when I unlock my door, the dome light comes on. I don't remember this happening before, but I have a poor memory, so I don't know if I'm just remembering wrong or just never noticed before. But I've had this car for 20+ years now, so I would think I would know. And my lock/unlock buttons recently became loose, so it caused the passenger side door to make a weird sound today when I locked the door, so I was testing the lock/unlock button, which is also when I noticed the dome lights came on. So I need to know if there is a faulty locking due to the loose buttons or if this is just normal, so that I know whether I need to bring the car in immediately to the shop.

So I got an exhaust system on line, I'm sure yall have herd of it, it's the spec D N1 burnt tip, cheep exhaust I know, but I only need it for now while I save up for a turbo. Car is a 2007, The problem I'm having is, when I first start off from a stop in getting almost a grinding or vibration from my front right side (or middle not sure, just sounds like it's from my right when I'm driving) only happens when I get good traction when accelerating from a stop, also same thing happens when I accelerate to a stop (yes I mean accelerate, but for people who don't understand that even stopping is accelerating than when I "decelerate") it does the same thing, vibrates as if it's hitting something under my engine. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this? I already took my car to an exhaust shop and had them cut my pipe and twist it so the pipe didn't hang so low under the axle, now it is tucked up nice and tight, but it's hitting somewhere and it's ____ing me off, never happened before I installed the exhaust so I'm sure it is related. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey all, I just recently upgraded my head unit to the Pioneer 2000-NEX and now I want to upgrade my speakers. I did some research myself but could not find much on audio system upgrades on the 2nd gen tC’s. Apparently not a lot of cars have 4” midranges like our cars have? What advice do y’all have for upgrading speakers? Would you buy a set that includes the tweeter, mid, and bass, buy each individually, or only get a bass/tweeter combo? I don’t have a lot of knowledge on this so as much as you could give would be great! My price range is around $300-600.
