hey so i am new to the scionlife.com so bare with me if i'm not all that good at this. i bought my scion last september after i sold my trusty jeep xj. decided that i needed to be better on gas. i waned something cool though to and decided to look at scions and now i am all about the scion thing. i started out with a stock 2006 scion tc owned by one family with 121,000 miles.

so following the purchase of the car i knew i wanted to do something to help seperate my car from every other car driving around town. the first mod i decided to do was exhaust. took the scion down to my local muffler shop kens muffler and had them remove the stock muffler and put in a straight pipe. now it isn't a full straight pipe exhaust because i left the cat in. the benifit is that it will still pass emissions. it wasnt a huge gain in performance but it was noticable. also sounds pretty good. i left the original exhaust tip but i may decide to change it later on down the road.
