I've had my 2008 xD for 3-1/2 years and driven it 32,000 miles so far. Odo reads 81,450 as of today. Been a great car and I intend to keep it forever, if I can. First thing I did after getting the car was to discover Scionlife.com and do the daytime running lights upgrade by rewiring the engine compartment fuse box. When I get more time, I'll look into other little upgrades listed on the site.

I'm a retired Ph.D. research chemist and have been a Datsun 240Z owner since late 1971. I have two of them - both 1972 models. My original owner car is in frame-up rebuild mode (getting a 3.2 L stroker motor put in) and the other (with a 2.8 L Rebello motor) needs some front end and roof repair after a low speed rollover.
