Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone. Previously owned a 2006 xB that was destroyed in a hail storm last April. Picked up a Kia Soul+ with the insurance money (man those 1st gen's do not lose their value!). I didn't pick up another xB cause most dealers around here keep their inventory with black steelies and no stereos (let's face it, St. Louis has a lot of crime) so I could never get the full effect of the gen2's and never felt the love. But after a few months I found myself still oogling xB's I got with this when I shoulda got with that. I just traded in the Kia and got myself a dealer 2012 close out xB. Figured it was high time to join a forum to learn more about this gen so I don't jack it up doing mods on an unfamiliar car.

But what I'm really trying to say it just...howdy ya'll!

p.s. Oh yeah, it's white, with 19" TRD rims, TRD lowering, rear wing, carbon fiber pillar cover thingies, and the BeSpoke stereo (which sucks I might add). Currently bought not built but I'm working on that...Just waiting for the tech files to download so I can start yanking panels for some orange cream cathode lighting and 12v power port installs.

p.s.s. My other car is a 1966 Land Rover Series IIa. Definitely built not bought!

I'm in Overland. I used to be a member of STL club actually. Only made it to one outing tho. I might swing by to catch back up with you guys so I can sponge info and ideas off ya'll.

 

Come meet up with us whenever you get a chance. I work evenings so I miss out on some of the fun, but everyone else who has a life goes to Sonic in Chesterfield Valley every Wednesday evening.
