Default Just saying hello - prospective tC owner

Hello,

I'm not an owner yet, but I hope to be in the coming months. I've been doing lots of research on the 2013 tC and test drove one recently. Also test drove a '12 Challenger & '08 Mustang GT. Kept coming back to the tC because it's a more visually interesting car to me than the retro muscle cars, plus the tC is somewhat of the modern version of the 1970 Toyota Celica GT (in my humble opinion). If / when I buy one, I would like to add the TRD cold-air induction, lowering springs & possibly, the SF:6 "18 wheel set from Five AD. Thanks for any advice you might have for me!

Get the base model from the dealer only except for any exterior mods maybe a spoiler or the factory fogs and the specialty scion decals don't waste your money on TRD performance it's over priced for what it is go aftermarket

I had TRD springs on my tc1. Liked em. Little soft for semi hard cornering but height was good for a DD. going to coils this winter though

Default mods for '13 base tC

Thanks for the reccomendations! I thought the TRD cold-air was pretty jacked-up price wise too compared to what I've seen available from similar K&N etc. I'll keep that under consideration and the lowering springs too - thanks.

i have all the TRD parts on mine, except for the "exhaust" because it's useless, 2.5" DR instead...
overpriced, yeah i'd say so but i'm a fan-boy so lol

def. shop around, lots of name brand parts out there for lower costs

welcome
