Through sheer luck and happenstance I find myself the proud New owner of a 2006 Envy Green Release 3.0 Scion xB! I was driving a 1991 Mercury Capri convertible that decided to break down 1 too many times. The day it broke down I received an email from my credit union stating 'have you applied for your pre-approved car loan yet?' My credit is shot so I figured I would never qualify, but I did! The only stipulation was that I had to purchase from a true dealership. I have always been a station wagon freak, so I started looking at Dodge Magnums. The problem was the gas mileage as I drive over 100 miles a day. So I started looking smaller. I always liked old cars so I was looking at PT Cruisers and HHRs because the look retro. I found a bright orange PT Cruiser I liked but it was a private seller. I asked my boss that owns a motorsports dealership if he could buy the car and then sell it to me, he said he could. Then in his next breath he told me that he wanted me to list his Scion on eBay for him (that is what I do for a living, sell on eBay). I have wanted an xB ever since he bought his new! I made him an offer and the rest is history! I am so INCREDIBLY psyched! I love it, the wife loves it and the kids think I'm a rock star now! It is completely stock with just over 70k on it. Now for some tasteful reversible mods... thinking about Shelby Le Mans stripes in white over the whole car, and maybe some white paint for the hubcaps... oh BTW a piece of trivia... did you know that the designer of the PT Cruiser and the HHR was the same guy...funny, huh?
