Default New Scion owner but some work to do!

Just bought a 2006 Xb. Needs a new front bumper, subframe, but the price was too good to pass up. Looking forward to getting it on the road for my lady and looking through this site for help. I love to do a lot of mods and work myself, that is, after it comes back from the shop.

Thanks in advance for any help that I get here!

Its gonna take some work for sure but well worth it in the end. My body shop guy said definitely doable.

Any places for good parts outside of ebay? I have some odd and in things that I can do now like airbag replacement and seat belt retractor.

Anything is doable.

To get parts, just look at local salvage yards, or you body guy should know places for sure around your area. Or are you talking about other places on the internet? There are quite a few of oem parts sites, just Google for that. I still say get things from a salvage yard. There are plenty of torn up xB's laying around.

Eh, that isn't much. It's all bolt on sh.it. Get all the stuff from a rear ended xB in the junk yard. In one day, you'll have a whole new front end with two 7/16" wrenches and a case of beer.

thats what I like to hear! Gonna need a subframe though. Wheel is pushed back to the fender.

When I looked at it, I could not believe all the bolt on stuff!

Oh yeah dude. You aren't going to have torch and weld anything. You should be able to just unbolt it all.

How tough is it to put on a new radiator support?
