Ruined bumper 1st day/diy help
This has to be the most solidly humiliating introduction ever.
I got a 2012 tc (not rs) today. On my 2nd drive, or attempt at a drive, I bumped my front bumper into a curb. Cracked it, big crack. Needs replacing and I want to just order the bumper and do it myself (boyfriend will help), but I have questions. Advise really welcome. And by all means dumb it down, please. My car is the factory bright yellow. Should I just order a "plastic bumper cover for 2nd generation with matching paint"?
I'm thinking to order a bumper off of ebay. What do I need to enter to be sure that it's compatible with my car? Is there any misstep that a total novice might make and wind up ordering one that does not fit? Any recommendations to make it look right as well as economical.
I know it's kind of funny, but my heart crashed when I heard that sound. If there is a way to on this forum I can send pics of my car before and after my first hideous, and unintended mod.
