What'sssss Happenin'
Hey folks
My name is Joey is from the dirty south(mississippi!)
I am actually an owner of a 1993 Toyota Mr2 (Right hand drive!!)
My girlfriend and I recently bought a 2011 Scion Tc, cement in color, from Houston, Tx.
So far it's been pretty sweet, she loves it, which in turn makes me happy.
I'm a bartender at the Hard Rock Casino. I've been loving cars for a while. I've had a Toyota Celica GTS (2000), a 1991 Mr2, and Currently the 1993 Mr2. I also own a boosted 2007 Honda Civic Si that's the track car, and the Mr2 is going to be a cone destroyer once I get wheels, tires and suspension.
Thanks for reading!

Hey dude, I just posted in your other thread about the transmission.
First things first, I want a build thread on your old '91. I want a build thread on your current '93. And I sure in the f.ck want a build on your FG2. I too have an FG2. Boost'd to all hell. 513hp 335lbtq 18lbs boost.

Sure! The builds are pretty simple!
The 1991 which has been sold for a while. It was a Red 1991 with a 3rd Gen 3sgte Swap, upgraded fuel pump, and a bigger sidemount intercooler: Was putting down about 220 to the ground.

The 1993
1991 block, Wiseco Pistons, Eagle Rods. Remachined head, ARP Headstuds and MLS Headgasket. SC-60 big boy turbo. Walbro 255 fuel pump, Upgraded sidemount intercooler. EMS Powered Exhaust, wideband, and pretty substantial sound upgrades. The only thing I need to turn up the horsepower is upgraded fuel line and fuel injector, then I should be well on my way.
2007 Turbo Civic Si (for sale)
This is going to make you cry so you should turn away. Stock internals, 1000cc injectors, Precision SC-61 Turbo. Front Mount intercooler, Tein EDFC. Low boost at 8psi and High at 14psi (464hp). I've already been through one transmission, so I take it easy on her now and barely hit boost.

I'd love to see the '91. That sounds sick. Your '93 looks pretty good too man. I'm sure she moves.
And why am I going to cry? I have a brand new fully built bottom end and head. 9.2:1 1000cc Grams. Precision 6262. Front mount as well. Buddy Club N+'s. Fully built transmission with PPG gears and carbon synchros. DSS 5.9 axels. 4" intake. 3" exhaust. Full loop return fuel system. The works. And my rpf1's 17x8

Oh yesh. The K motors are screamers. I went the comptech (CT-E) route, and now most likely its getting yanked off for the kraftwerks SC setup. It really surprised people when you stay out of vtec, drive around (like to dinner or something) then when they are least expecting it, getting it up to 8800rpm zone.
ALWAYS loved the beams motors in the MR2's, and the hardtop turbo cars (rare!).
I really wished they would of continued a proper lineage (my friend owns the MR-S in...ughh YELLOW) and while its a decent car, it sure is not the wild ride the MR2turbo's are. I have seen quite a few done up (TRD body kit looks nice) but nothing compares to the gen2 looks, and performance for price.
*** just as a FYI - I am, nor ever will be - a "yellow" car guy, be it lambo, porsche, or whatever. ***

Challenge received - here is my 89 944 turbo S that *I* had repainted. Guess what color it was painted? OEM Artic Silver like the newer boxster (at that time) and the 911's.
- Excuse the low res photos, those pics are almost 10 years old and taken with a 4mega pixel camera at the time.

At the time, it was an amazing car. I do not own it anymore - thats what I drove through high school and most of college. It was a beast in the twisties, and I really, really think it would decimate the BRZ/FRS (stock vs stock) but its not really fair, as it was another 50hp (stock) and not too much heavier. But then again, it was kind of a race car (track) for the street.
This is one classic car (any of the 944 series) I would recommend an enthusiast to drive. The seating position (now it might be more common) but it was like being in a cockpit of a fighter plane. It just wrapped you in, with no extra room, and its hard to explain.. you just have to sit in one.
I also had a 928 GT (check out prices on the 1995 928 GTS) - its a v8, but mine needed too much attention, and I got out of it before "restoring it" bit me like it did with the 944 did, which was much cheaper. And I always wanted a 968 Cabrio. I just loved the timeless design. These 944's (and 924) are old, but still look modern.
My 944 had 16" Ronal rims, custom IFC front end, flush molded IFC side skirts, IFC rear valance, 924 GTS front end panel (for open air cooling) clear OEM fog and turn signals, MSDS header, K&N intake, and minor HorsePowerFarm engine mods and a single 15" cerwin vega sub in the back hatch. And all the "broken or used" stuff was replaced with new, or better condition parts (IE: Leather seats, new steering wheel etc.).

For sure man. Yeah all the 900 series Porsches are like **** pits. I just love it so much. You can pick up a 928 or 944 for nothing now a days. And yeah, they had the V8 stock in that thing, which is just crazy. I love it. I saw one the other day actually. Just beautiful. The 924 is straight boss status dude. You can't get better than that. The 928 was wayyy ahead of its time with the body style. They were going "rounded" before anyone else with that body style car ie rx-7 ect. They didn't even realize what they had there. But my all all all all all time car in general is a 911 GT2 turbo, the 993 generation, around '95 ish. I mean come on dude... hell yeah.
Tom - This one would be more my style.. Sharkwerks modified, 610hp... sick..

My god that is one hooked up 996. What a price too. Not bad. Of course I like that, but those oldie turbos are nut sacks. Otherwise if that's the route were going, then of course, the 997 GT3 all fvcking day. Like the one I posted earlier. Yum yum getcha some.
Yeah the price on that is so reasonable for the car - and people that own cars like that - usually treat them very well.
I am just going to end up making a "Tom & Al show" thread in the general forum, so we can post and BS... and maybe get 3-4 others roped in.
If I did not have important man work to do right now, I would do it. Tomorrow I can screw off more, but I'll start the thread with my previous cars/builds, you can add yours - then we can post dream cars (reasonable, and UN reasonable) and bs - since this is really just our website now, lol. My list is huge (of cars I would own/drive or garage keep). My daily driver list is huge... I love all sorts of cars, some wacky, some just hard to find now a days (early jap cars - yes please!)
I want to show off my other honder. It makes a paltry 170hp, and has no vtecs but has snacked on a GTR from a launch to 160 (man that was a bish) AND a viper GTS (not the new SRT viper...). Of course, it only weighs in at 430lbs but it runs 10's all day, and even high 9's if I can get a good launch and keep the front from coming up.

Jesus Tom, I let you talk about your favorite color for a few hours, and NOW look what goes and happens..
