Default Installed my Shark Fin antenna from Beat-Sonic

I had an extra 15 minutes this afternoon so I installed my new Shark Fin antenna from Beat-Sonic. Easy to do and I think it looks much better than the stock black antenna.

Stock...

The Shark Fin from Beat-Sonic...

Super easy installation...

Stylish I think.

Any difference in reception? Can I get one in black sand pearl? How's the adhesive stand up to a car wash beating?

Reception is great, even the HD stations come in clear. I'm sure they have BSP available. Just check them out here Beat-Sonic USA

Talk to Eric and tell him TAZ sent you.

ditto myself but i'm sure it'd take even the harshest scrubbing to loosen up 3m tape.

True. I used 3M tape to hold the wing on my xB and never had a problem in four years. Awesome stuff.

Made a trip over the Best-Sonic USA today to see what Eric and the boys were up to. They have a new front camera module for me to try out and they had a little surprise for me as well.

A smaller color matched shark fin antenna. This one works just as well but is a little smaller and has less sharp edges in the design than the first one I installed. Here are some pictures for comparison...

You can easily see the difference in size...

Here is the new smaller antenna installed...

Many thanks to Eric and everyone at Beat-Sonic for the new antenna. I think it goes much better with the FIVE:AD body kit wing.

They dont make it in the Burnt Orange color? I guess I could just get the carbon-fiber one if not.

I spoke to Eric and he said the Shark Fin for the FR-S will work with the iQ. It's the first one I installed on mine. It's a little larger and more sleek looking. He does have those in Hot Lava.

as much as i like the look of the smaller fin antenna, $120 plus shipping is a bit pricy for my wallet.

Just for the record, Visual Garage makes shark fin antennas that fit the iQ, painted in all stock colors, and have room to fit a satellite radio antenna underneath without blocking signal. Looks great on my Hot Lava iQ!
