Information about the Land Cruiser replacement...
The Lexus JX 470 will replace the LX470 in 2007, making its debut as a 2008 model. Lexus is expected to introduce a new 5.4 L V8 engine in the JX. With this engine, it is possible that the model will actually be named JX 540 by the time it reaches production. The JX will be based on the next generation Toyota Sequoia, though the current LX is based on the Toyota Land Cruiser.

Be interesting to see.
Hopefully Lexus puts some of the nifty high end stuff from the LS460 L in the JX.
Guess I will have to keep dreaming.
It would be nice to see Lexus do that for once a Limited Edition, say about 150 total with the ottaman / champagne holder, tv and etc in the new high-end SUV. Would probably work.

I don't see any of the super-high-end stuff landing in the JX... that slot will be similar to the current Sequoia, just with more standard options, etc. The LX500/LX550 will get all of the really cutting-edge goodies!
