It was a pretty hard decision for me. I was using Vehix to compare, unfortunatly the results were flawed because the RX's crash data isnt out yet, but it won for features and the FX(35 AWD) had the best for specifications.

FX 35 or 45 (45 is my preference) I just think they look better, and drive VERY nice. The RX is nice, but just not my style.

Having driven both, I'll tell you that the RX absolutely destroys the FX in terms of Luxury. . . materials, insulation, sound, seats, mood lighting (cupholders, floor, etc), ride quality; everything is silky Lexus smooth.

The FX is a different beast, with more of a sporty flare. What it lacks in luxury it makes up for in road manners. This thing hauls booty for an SUV and drives like a sports car. Think of it as BMW vs Benz. . . you can't really compare the two.

My stepmom has a fully loaded RX330 w/ EVERYTHING and that shiz it sic ... The backup cam is the coolest thing, the dvd player in back makes ridding in the back seat fun, you can't get lost with the navi (we tried and it just re-routed us) and the ride is SUPER smooth it handles the road great!

My parents have a fully loaded RX330, and I can't imagine how the FX could be any better. I personally even like the styling of the RX better...I have no complaints on our 05 RX!
