*maintanence required* problem?

*maintanence required* problem?
i'm at around 5200 miles and my maintanence required light blinks about 5 times when i turn on the car and then turns off..
i got my oil change at 4806.
now was there something the mechanic was suppose to do after the oil change... like reset something.. cuz it didnt go on until i reached the 5k mile mark....has anyone else gone thru this?

dude, no offense but search is your friend... search on "maintenance light" comes up with 2 items, one of them being : "FAQ: how to reset maintenance light."
