06 scion tc throwing codes and not starting
i have an 06 scion tc 105,000 miles...last sunday i was driving down the road, the battery light, oil light and check engine light come on and the car dies. try to start it and it's trying to turn over but two hours later it starts. scanner said engine module, o2 sensor and throttle body sensor. i had the codes cleared and two days later it was back on. i took it to advanced auto and had it scanned and two different codes came up. the evap sensor. i guess if i had two out a certain three codes it was probably the evap sensor.
i took it to my brothers and we checked the gas cap. found that i need a new one because it wasnt sealing properly. so next he cleaned the throttle body. after that the car would start but hitting the throttle wouldn't do anything. soon after that the car would start then quickly die. hitting the throttle does nothing. so i'm wondering if anyone has any idea what to do. does any of this sound familiar???
