3 Free Oil Changes....Have to be at the original dealership?
Hey all, I had a question, hopefully someone who works at a Scion dealership can answer this for me. Do I have to take my Scion to the dealership I bought it from for my 3 free oil changes?
I have had some problems with the dealership I bought my car from (being promised delivery on xx date, not hearing from them about my car I signed on until next day, then being told it would be over a week longer than I agreed to, being told by the service area guy when I took it in for the 2nd oil change that I only get 2 free oil changes, not 3 etc).
I'd like to take it to the dealership in town, which is much closer to me anyhow (I only went to the other dealership because a friend of a friend worked there, and took good care of me, which is about where the good service ended, and he doesn't even work there anymore so I have no real ties to that dealership besides my car coming from there. )
Any insight would be appreciated,

I also had a similar sales experience to RAAB
I recieve A+ service at the Toyota dealer I use, and I will continue to go there because of it.
I was offered only 2 free (but they did free tire rotations)

I have an 09 they only gave me only the first 2 services for free (oil and tire rotation).
And I had to take it to a dealership other than where I bought it because I moved. It was no problem. They didn't even treat me any different.
If I were you, go look for dealers in your are and go the the dealer review section on scion life to see what other owners have experienced. That is how I picked the dealer I went to here and work out fine for me.

i got my first free oil change coming back for my 2nd in 4.5k miles. dont driver often so thats going to be a while.
i got oil and oil filter change. most likely Pennzoil oil and Toyota oil filter.
they also adjusted my ebreak so it fully locks up after 3 clicks. used to be around 7-8ish. feels weird. but w/e
guess i have to retorq my bolts since they took my rims off.

it came with my purchase, nothing extra which is great. i know the toyota techs arent the best everywhere and they mistreat your car but, i have gotten to know my tech and he has been the only one to work on my car and i trust him. i usally walk back to the bays and just hang out outside and only walk in to show off my mods, hes really into my car. i usally do my own oil changes but if it can save me 20-25 bucks each time, id rather save that money for something else
anytime i take my car or any other car to have work done, i always look over their shoulder. keeps my mind at ease.

I wish I could say that for my dealer. I think they work more on Toyota's not the Scions. Last time there I was one of 2 scions and the other scion owner have 15 years on me. Then of course there were Priuses. They are like ants, they are every where!
