Default Always use Jackstands!

This is the Result of a Car falling on your foot, specifically a Brake Rotor.
One of the Scariest feelings ever, not being able to move, being pinned down by a Car.
I didn't go to the Hospital or anything, we'll see how things heal.

Yeah, my Girlfriend has been yelling at me all day to go to the Hospital. My Doctor said I can go over there tomorrow, if I don't go to Work that is.
After I wiggled loose from under the Car, I think I was still in Shock and cared more about the tC, so I got it off the ground right away. Haha'.
Yeah, what a great way to turn 21.

I have Two Sets of Jackstands actually, Haha', I Installed H-Techs last night, since then, the Car makes a Ticking Noise from the Front Driver's Side while in Reverse, and only when I let OFF the Brake Pedal.. Everything I read says it's Normal, but I'm gonna' have them take a look when I go to get it aligned in a couple of weeks.

Check your lug nuts, and make sure all of your bolts are tightened!!!

I've had my car fall before too!!!

Stupid me, I had two jack stands on one side and a jack on the other side.

I was putting the rims back on too, and it just kept getting farther away from me, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. Haha.

Then...BOOM! lol.

Your lucky you didn't break your foot!

Definitely, I don't have Insurance! Gotta' work on that one..
I'm short like 15 Minutes a Week to be considered Full-Time.. damn Abt.

But yeah, all the Lugs are Tight, first thing I figured it was..
The Brake Dust Shields are bent like heck, I bent them back but will probably need some new ones.

Strict Orders from my Girlfriend, who is guarding me right this second, to lay in bed with my foot elevated and iced.
PLUS, I have to work tomorrow.

I have heard horror stories of people getting trapped under cars, and flailing their feet against the ground to the bone until they died. I'm glad you are ok. I'm sure you have learned your lesson.

I'd at least go to the hospital to make sure nothing is broken. I got a boxer's fracture and didnt go to the hospital. I didnt think it was broken at first. it healed at a 30 degree angle because I went 2 weeks after it happened. I didnt think it was broken at first.

Yeah, today it's mainly Black and Blue, yesterday it was Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, there were actually bits of rust from off of the Rotor on it, my skin was stuck on the inside of my Sock when I took it off, nasty business.

Consider it a life lesson. I have seen a lot worse, and as mentioned, death is a possibility. Jackstands are cheap. Life and limbs are not.

Heal up and thats for having the 'nads to post this. Ego can get in the way of many things, but you may have saved someone else the same (or worse) fate.

Cheers!

I don't see why you didn't have stands under there in the first place. Always use stands. I use stands along with the jack. You're really lucky, I hope you learned your lesson.

Haha', yeah, actually.. right after I got the Car off of my Foot, I think I was more worried about the Car, so I crawled over to the Rear, and Jacked it up to get it off the ground.

I do a lot of dumb stuff, I'm probably the first person to call myself out on it..

You have NO IDEA. Haha', definitely learned my lesson. I think this is only the First or Second time I've never used Jackstands, not making that mistake twice.
