In cases as this where the bird dodo ate thru the paint the best way to get rid of it is with wetsanding the area lightly with 2000 grit paper and water. Then buff it back to a shine with a rotory (not orbital) buffer on a low speed with some compound.

bird sh!1 = acidic...always keep a microfiber cloth and cleaning spray in your glove box at all times. =p

Yanki01, a word from the wise, make sure you always carry around a bottle of liquid quick detailer and a microfibre cloth, and a bottle of water if possible to avert nasty birdy damage.

that crap must have been on there for a while?
the longest i had bird crap on my tC was like maybe 8 hours before i washed it off but theres not damage.
would it have been the sun that dried it up?

fyi you know bird crap has large traces of sperm in it? O.O

i always have a microfiber cloth in my car to wipe that crap off my car immediately.
