maybe a problem with ABS?

any problem regarding brakes is a serious issue, i'd go see my dealer ASAP. As of course, brakes can mean the difference between life and death.

You mean like a squeaking noise? Mine did that too when I first got them, but it stopped after a week or so, so I forgot about it. Figured is was just a coating or something wearing off the rotors.

Yup, that's about right. In cold weather it will squeek or some annoying loud high pitch sound. Squeek's on my Camry too (w/ABS). It also happens when my car hasn't been in motion for about 4hours. Toyota brake pads have good stopping power and wear but they squeek when cold. THey are staying away from Asbestos based pads because, well, it's asbestos. Just drive around the block awhile or drive a about 1/8-1/4 mile, the sound should be gone. Don't worry about. but it is loud and annoying when it happens. Dont replace them with "lifetime pads." Those suck, bad stopping power and probably contain asbestos...hhmmm Raybestos pads=asbestos?? LOL

aiite when brakes are done properly they are not suppose to make any noise. Meybe when they are first on if you bought sum crappy autozone brakes but id recommend having it checked. If its like a rumbling or sounds like a fart when u depress the pedal it might be the abs. Check the wheel speed sensors. Gl
