bug Marks
Well, it's been like 6 months with bug marks on my car, I got bug marks over the summer, and I was busy so didnt wash my car until a month later. It's always been there, wash after wash, and it ____es the crap out of me, it almost makes me wnat ot get a new bumper. What are suggestions? It looks like it's baked in there pretty good. There are alot, and wax and polish wont take it out
a clay bar will remove the bugs themselves, but with the amount of time that they have been left on the paint, their insides have permanently etched the clearcoat. The only way to remove these etchings is with an abrasive polish on a machine. You could try scratchX but I have never used that product so I can't definitively say if it will work or not.
6 months is a long time. You might want to get some bug/tar remover. Spray it on in the shade. Wait a few minutes. Get a clean, but moist, rag and start cleaning that stuff off.
A few friends and I washed their cars last weekend. I spent most of my time cleaning off the bug guts off my front end. I do a lot of highway driving.

Which would be a good safe one to use???
I'm out of town right now, but I just bought an aerosol can of some bug/tar remover. It was a blue can... *shrug*
I hear the Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover is good, too. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=UTF8&v=glance
