bug remover?
I usually wet the bug area well and go over it are several times as I work around the car. The idea being that repeated soaping and rinsing will soften the bugs and negate the use of chemicals. Once that is done, if bugs remain on the car, I use sparingly a bug and tar remover, usually Turtle Wax brand. Then a little soap and water again and finally some liquid polish for protection. Be sure to keep the front end polished well during th bug season. The slick surface makes it harder for the bugs to stick and easier to come off.

Get a clay bar. Nothing is easier for getting bugs off. I had tried the bug off stuff and power washers at the car wash. Then, I tried using my clay bar. You seriously won't believe how easy it is. I used one of my old bars for bugs because after a few uses for bugs, the bar gets pretty full of bug guts. Try it though, you won't be disappointed.

for hard encrusted bugs.. after you wash the car take a very wet terri cloth and gently scrub til the bug comes off. heres a little trick I learned from my motorcyle.. after hood and bumper is clean.. use a couple of applications of liquid pledge on the bug zone and it keeps the bugs from sticking hard and are easier to remove. Try to make sure you remove them as soon as possible hopefully still soft.
